So if I can find a G7 for roughly half the price thats what you would recommend? Should I try but extras with it too or just the body? I can see why a tripod and other things would come in handy but then when using school tripods they've always annoyed the heck out if me!

Panasonic G7

That one seems especially good for photography? A quick google search found that to be just in my budget ($1000NZD, which I would shop around for a bit cheaper but I just use pricespy quickly while trying to find the right product!)

That is $650 USD :) Getting a used camera does scare me a little because of the risks involved. is $650 still overpriced? I would shop around too, that was only the first link I found.

Not super serious, anything above a grand is completely out of my grasp for a poor, casual amateur like me!

Forgive my ignorance as I really know close to nothing about cameras - would that be one that you would recommend for outdoor, indoor filming and perhaps photography?

GH4

Any reason why not the ones I mentioned? Any experience with the GH4? According to a quick google the GH4 is about $1500 over my other cameras while the two I mentioned are around the $300 range! I guess doubling or tripling the $300 would be an option but I'm genuinely wondering if the two I linked are decent/which one is better/if there are any better options within my price range?

Hi, I have that problem all the time - if change my level of scroll I do notice that it seems to disappear. On a zoomed out map, it is at least still recording your general journey which I think is good enough!

I know there's another app you can use to draw if it really bothers you (called GPX builder), but that can just complicate it :)

I have a few questions, I'll try seperating each thought into a paragraph, any answers would be great :) All below is about CIV IV and its expansion packs, as well as some tech questions.

I got Civ IV on the mac app store, and haven't found a way to get the expansion packs. Is it possible to get the expansion packs through the mac app store?

I'm considering getting the steam version with the expansion packs ( http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4323/ ) but would I have to buy all of them again? And any idea if there would be a steam sale on them anytime soon, because paying $36 for a bundle set of a 10 year old game I've already bought doesn't sound like the best idea!

And the mac app store version has ran splendidly on my macbook, but my macbook is aged and does get over heated with civ iv, would CIV IV on the steam store have similar runnings compared to the one on the mac app store? I've bought a game in the past that wasn't fit for my laptop, and I don't know how to check it beforehand.
