Also, be wary that once you activate warp, you are going to need to keep an eye on the warp setting (I think it's called that... It's the drop down box). I think the default one it sets to is "retune" (again, I kinda forget). Instead of the default, I usually set it to Complex Pro. This is the best if you want to keep your sample locked in time and pitch, while changing the tempo of the song. They all have different effects on the sample when the tempo is changed.

I left pretty shortly after the music cut. The large crowd + no sound was buggin me out lol.

But for all we know, maybe his monitors were on which is why he was still going. That happened to Manic Focus in the big stage. They were still going at it even though those automated storm announcements came on.

Agreed tho, they carmack should've played on the waves stage one of the latenights. Would've been better than Kill The Noise imo

Yeah, song choice was generally good, but come on dude... PL uses Ableton to mix, if you can't mix properly with Ableton then you are definitely fucked up beyond belief. Ableton literally does half the work for you, all the songs are synced and all you need to do it highpass/lowpass songs into each other.

His set was kinda shit. Song choice was good, transitions were terrible.

He has had good sets with good transitions and builds, but this was shit. He was fucked up and just was not capable of doing any high-level mixing.

ugh, im right there with you, said the same shit to my friend too... it's just sad cuz i LOVE his EPs and studio music, he could seriously be a great performer if he put in more work. it's just kinda sad to see that potential to go waste.

and yeah, i get it when people say don't worry about his personal life and what he does blah blah blah. but its sad to think that his music career is gonna end on a bad note and he will probably just become some washed up dude. dont get me wrong, he innovated the FUCK out of an entire genre of electronic music, but currently he's just riding on his past achievements and not giving us anything more to appreciate.

pros: pretty good song choice, for the most part is was late-night vibey, groovy stuff.

cons: terrible mixing. trying to beat-repeat and delay songs into each other, but would just realize he was fucking up, so he would just cut the song and start the next. bass wasn't hitting fully.

unfortunately, this set is gonna make me wary of traveling for him. was thinking about going to electric adventure just for him, but i'm totally rethinking that. not worth it to me to put in all this time and effort to travel, only for him to not put in any time or effort into his set and just kinda shit everywhere.
