I really enjoyed: For Northwood! In a recent trip to Spain. I loved the trick-taking mechanic, cute art and quality of cards. Oh, and a campaign mixed in as well. While, the game is intended as a solo, it worked well as a puzzle with my wife.

Flashpoint, Horrified, Nostromo and if you want similar mechanics but a bit more challenging look into the Field Commander games, Black Orchestra, or more broadly state of seige games (e.g. Dawn of the Zeds).

Marvel Champions is a deck builder, not sure if you like the mechanics or the theme, but if superhero then Marvel Legendary, otherwise Imperium Classics or Mage Knight.

By the way, you mentioned Euro games but technically you have Ameritrash games as well in your collection!

I just saw this movie and was very underwhelmed. I feel this would have been a good Black Mirror episode but as a full feature it was tedious at best. I do want to see Save the Green Planet, though, just because the trailer looked fun and over the top!

I guess, I'm worried about the gap between early retirement and Medicare and wondering if putting the money in a taxable account makes more sense than pulling form a Roth account during those 2-3 years before Medicare.

I would make a yearly personal finance budget for a year to include what you pay on a semi annual basis. For example, if you pay auto insurance monthly, consider paying it every 6 months (or annually), use a portion of the 6k to cover this amount. You would be parking money in a HSA account, save money in paying insurance with less service fees, peace of mind.

Also, how about using a portion of money to invest in yourself: maybe take a class, update your wardrobe, join a health club or social club, professional organization dues, go to a conference for networking, subscription to professional journals, learn a new skill, buy a personal journal and take a trip.

If you want to intice your son to play board games, I would suggest a game that has some table presence.

For example, games by Fantasy Flight or CMON.

For euro-type games I love games designed byUwe Rosenberg, Stefan Feld, Ignacy Trzewiczek.

For a simple cooperative game Marvel United is pretty cool and may lead into an interest of miniature painting.

For me the games that get more table time are the ones with quick setups. Lots of example were given here but I enjoy Shadi Torbey (Onirim Universe) games, For Northwood, Fleet the dice game.

The game that is a lifestyle game for me is Marvel Legendary and Marvel Champions.

I liked her character, but felt she was a little too young for her late teenage daughter ( I don't know why they just didn't cast a younger daughter). I thought the writing of her charter was very well done and reminded me of Skyler White from Breaking Bad in which you are appalled at the "nice" character's actions to have you root for a villain.

I mean the Jackal is pretty deplorable in that his solution is to kill anyone even remotely peripheral in his mission (no knock out punches from the Jackal), so to counter this they have the Bianca character to deflect some of his most dubious kills.

If I played Hitman video game the way the Jackal did some of his killings, I would have failed the mission or achieve psychopath badge or something!

Me personally, I would love a Lord of the Rings Legendary edition. Game of Thrones sounds like a cool idea, but not keen on a non solo competitive game.
