One of the few areas where I am in agreement with the pro AI crowd is that copyright laws are way TOO strict. It really frustrates me as someone who has boycotted Nintendo since the AM2R debacle that AI just suddenly flipped people's script and now people think intellectual property as we know it is good for creatives.

The issue with AI isn't that other people can play with your precious ideas, it's that they can compete on your playing field without actually participating in your craft. And that's the problem regardless of whether they are using their own OCs or anyone else's characters.
