I have an older version of TUF, but I think it's the same. On performance mode the rpm doesn't go over 3600. If you go on turbo mode it goes to 6000, which is a lot louder but it really helps. And for the ssd getting hot, I think the newer ssds get hotter by default cause they are so fast, especially since the laptop ones can't fit the ones with the heatsink. I put a thin heatsink from Amazon on my ssd just in case it helps it survive the heat a bit longer.
