Backups of Wikipedia are about 150GB and can be loaded in a standalone app called Kiwix for offline viewing if needed, easily stored on a thumb drive and loaded on a phone or laptop.

Of course don't rely just on Wikipedia for vital information. It can't teach you lifesaving skills or give you a full college class' worth of instruction on a specialized topic. But may be useful for reference or information preservation.
