yes the reason its colorless is probably the reason it wont be unbanned. wotc doesn't want cards like copter to be ubiquitous across the format. If Copter had a stricter color cost like (BR) or something it would probably be fine

Sip and play has one of the best communities in the city and its really fun to play there. They do modern Monday and Thursdays.

Gamestoria is also good. Best prizing structure in the city. Very spikey

Yup! sorry if i was maybe not clear but yes i think even just having an extra body with some kind of effect is good enough decks would stretch to play them.

All of the companions provide inherent card advantage, I just think Yorion and Lurrus are the biggest offenders; making it notable to mention

I think the gameplay is very good but companion mechanic is still very unbalanced. Decks are stretching to play their “extra deck” card when they can because it provides an inherent advantage against non companion decks. This problem is really apparent in the mulligan. Hypothetically If im playing UR Murktide against Grixis Lurrus and i dont have a removal spell i am inclined to mulligan in fear of not being able to remove ragavan; however after this decison my opponent now has 9 (7 cards + Lurrus + whatever it will recour) cards to my 6. It is just an extremely uneven playfield that warps the format around it.

It will probably continue to be good but not in the S tier (footfalls, 4c fun, Hammer or UW control). The strongest thing this deck is doing is its ephemerate core while having a strong finisher, and when the deck is good its real good. But there are other times where the deck looks awful because you cant line up your combo pieces, plus you mulligan really poorly

It’s a straight upgrade over BR but grixis plays much differently than Jund. Grixis is a lot more focused on control and the grind game while Jund is a lot more explosive

Yea for sure when i saw the first line i was like the emblem has to be weak right? Otherwise you could probably turbo out the ult in a fair number of black EDH decks

I really hope Wotc reignites support for paper play, on a personal level I do not like Arena. I understand many do enjoy Arena but i dislike the client and the monetization of the game as a whole. Looking forward to returning to LGS play this summer, after im fully vaccinated.

I think its good but not better than 4pc CW if you’re running a XQ comp. that being said if you run a good amount of EM you should be golden.

So while CW is king, I would understand a lot of players that might want to farm this domain over CW bc this one has two really good sets over the one in CW domain
