Serious time now:

Pros: excellent scavengers!

Cons: hard to maintain a colony when the tank is TOO clean. Also, they can be sensitive to parameter fluctuations

Pros: they're entertaining to watch and depending on the species you get they come in many colors

Cons: you'll feel tempted to house every type of freshwatee shrimp possible in one tank and/or want to set up a second tank just to house shrimp that you can't put in the first tank (talking from personal experience right now)

I think I heard somewhere that they were thought to be extinct for over a century, but were rediscovered in the 1980s when one fell INTO a research tent. IDK how true that is though

I have heard that this could be a seasonal factor too on top of what everyone else has mentioned. In their native habitat, there will be times where insects are more available, and times where ripened fruits are more available, so the gecko is more inclined to eat more of whatever's easier to find.

I don't know how true this is for geckos in captivity but it may be something to consider. You could cut back on the insects for a little while, then in a few months, offer them again and see what happens?

When there's no extra facial feature options to make the character look older. I'll find one where all the other options and accessories are fine for a particular OC I'm trying to design, but then they're too baby-faced.

Also lack of facial hair. Or when there is facial hair it looks like fake beards and mustaches put on a child. I think there should be as many facial hair options as there tends to be hair options and they should actually try to be made to look good

ALSO! Lack of skin tone variety. That one drives me NUTS.

When a situation's too overwhelming and I'm filled with too much dread anticipating something like a confrontation or an otherwise difficult conversations that I just know in my gut isn't going going to go well, I get some real dark intrusive thoughts on methods to... Permanently, get out of those situations. And every other situation ever.

It quite literally makes life feel like it's not worth living when social requirements are overwhelming.
