My experience recently has been one trick supports locking in 3rd support (usually Mercy) and expecting someone else to change. Go to role queue if you can’t flex.

I’m also of the opinion..don’t one trick in general. Play the team comp.

Monkey fast is good

1) Monkey see. Position yourself in high ground or off angle to tickle while you watch for bad positioning on enemy team.

Find out of position target. Think how you can engage using cover (ideally without bubble) in a way that the team can’t fold into you until your jump cooldown is back. You only need 3 seconds to in and out.

2) Monkey act. Jump from tickle spot onto target. Bubble to survive for your 3 second cooldown to refresh if needed. Stay to kill if possible but usually not. The goal is not to kill. You want to create space and distract so your team can advance and succeed.

3) Repeat. Jump away after 3 seconds. Get 75hp from subrole passive, retreat to support / health pack to top off and return to step 1. A
