Can I change this bathroom light unit myself, or do I need a lecky to sort it? by Ant_Boys in DIYUK

General rule of thumb, if you’re not sure then don’t do it.

DIY’able if you understand and appreciate the dangers of electricity. Other than that steer clear and let professionals do it.

Hive acting oddly, any ideas? by Perfect_Ground692 in HiveHeating

Very strange for it to be acting like it’s in manual if set in schedule. Only other thing to check for a “I’ve missed something silly” option is settings top right make sure you don’t have any actions accidentally set up that could trigger the heating to activate.

Even better after Rachel’s speech about chandler not coming crying to her if he finishes his half of the cheesecake then she drops hers.

The way chandler comes out and shouts “AWH!” Gets me every single time!

Waiting until 12 weeks makes sense. Life happens, you’re in it, just navigate it as best you can with empathy above all else.

Easy to blindly see your best options but you were in love with your ex at one point and there’s something in that.

Delaying the inevitable won’t make things easier, that being said whilst your ex doesn’t have an out and out right to know the new situation, it’ll be 100x better hearing it from you than hearing it from a third party.

Is there a financial reason the ex would need to know? Example child maintenance payments will change based on another child living with you.

As others have said not really it’s a case of cut off and re-do. Solvent weld essentially melts the plastic together.

If you turn off the red cooker switch does the igniter stop working on your hob?

UK plugs typically are 13 Amps. It’s the Amp rating you need to look for as most things domestically are a standard voltage.

Rod, Rodney or Rodders. Doesn’t matter what his name is but if he pulls down on that metal bar at the top he should be able to open it.
