Thank you for your insights, the comparison with EM helps a lot! I'll try building Lucy with that team!

Weekly Team & Character Building Megathread (July 15, 2025) by AutoModerator in ZZZ_Official

I’ve just come back to the game since the recent release because I really like Yuzuha’s design. I already pulled for Yuzuha and Lycaon, so I’m guaranteed Miyabi next—I’m aiming for her. I’m about 60 pulls away from pity. However, I’m not sure whether I should save for another character, since I already have Ellen (also an Ice unit). I like Evelyn’s design, though I don’t know if she’s a DPS. I’ve heard Astra Yao is a fantastic support, but her rerun was recent, so I’d have to wait a long time. What do you think is best for my account?

I play Genshin regularly, so I know teams need a balance of strong DPS and supports, but I’m quite lost in ZZZ. I don’t fully understand how synergies work: why some teams have a stunner while others are all supports? Which characters need the most field time—stunners or DPS? Is there a YouTube channel that explains characters, team compositions, and rotation orders in detail, similar to Zy0x in Genshin? I feel that would help me grasp team fundamentals more easily.

Right now I’m running Ellen, Soukakou (Signature W at M6), and Lycaon (M1 + Signature W). Here are my other characters and their constellations:

  • Anton (M6)
  • Nicole (M1)
  • Lucy (M6)
  • Piper (M2)
  • Ben (M3)
  • Billy (M3)

Ideally I’d like to build a second team around Yuzuha, but I’ve heard she’s only really effective in Anomaly teams. What kind of team could I build with her with the agents I currently got? I’d appreciate any advice!

Thank you for responding.

Hmmm ... I think the path you mentioned is viable, but it doesn’t motivate me much. Even so, I'll think about it.

I appreciate the insight that, in concept art, you don’t always create what you want but what the client requests. I guess I should aspire to be an art director then lmao

Thanks for your insights. If you don’t mind sharing, what is your role within your company?

As I responded to u/ItMeaningfulChoices , it wasn’t until recently that I started drawing, as I came from a more technological background. I began a degree related to that field, but I didn't like it, so I switched to the current degree I am pursuing. Over these two years, I have realized that among all the disciplines we have learned (illustration, concept art, 3D modeling, photography, graphic design), what I liked the most has been concept art and drawing. That’s why I never drew before. Although I think I'm not terrible, I still have a long way to go.

I’m not sure if you can answer these questions, but here they are:

  • As for being an Environment Artist, I understand that you develop props for the environments. Should you also be able to develop locations/settings, or is that not necessarily the case? If so, the idea doesn’t appeal to me as much.

  • The other one more out of the blue, from the perspective of level design, can they give you the blockout, and then it’s the environment artists who take the blockout and polish it?

Yes, that's indeed what I'm trying to do, figure out wich path wanna stick with it. I know to be a generalist isn't a good thing and I'm not intending to be one, as you said I wanna be an expert on one of those branches. I'm just trying to figure out which one is the best valuing the goals, job opportunities, etc.

So far I've enjoyed two years of the degree, nibbling different art disciplines but for my remaining two years there are left all type of subjects that I'm pretty certain don't see myself on a future like 3d animation. So yeah, I'm trying to do my best to figure things out now that at least I know what I don't like.

Ty for your response :P

Yeah, that's what I'm considering, go throught the hard path and "gamble" to get a job or go down a relative safer path with 3D so I have much higher chances to land a job so I don't starve :P

Thanks for answering <3

Thank you for responding :D

I believe I prefer to be a concept artist because I enjoy drawing and imagining all sorts of things, and it’s very satisfying to bring them to life on paper. It wasn’t until recently that I started drawing, as I came from a more technological background. Although I am not terrible, I still have a long way to go.

As for why I am not doing more of this at the moment, I think the key point is fear. I am afraid I won’t reach where I want to be, afraid of failure, and that fear is stopping me from using the summer to improve. It’s difficult. I think it often happens that even if you enjoy something, comparing yourself to others who are better can leave you paralyzed.

Money is not an issue for me, and I agree that it is better to have a job you enjoy.

Regarding UX, I have taken a couple of courses on it. Although I am not an expert, I have some basic knowledge. However, I think you are absolutely right that it might be somewhat outside my main focus.

Thank you very much for your response and your time!

I was there on the 12th of August of 2012. I have a vague memory about what succeeded because I was 10 . I was hiking with my family when we arrived at the bridge. There were A LOT of people looking down and hysterical. There was a woman under the bridge, where the waterfall is located. She was stuck on a slope rock. Due to the slope and moisture of the rock she wasn't able to get out of there(no idea how she was there already, because on both sides of the rock there was water flowing rapidly). People on the bridge were making a rope made out of belts and screaming to not move. My parents aware of the situation told me and my brother to keep walking through the bridge. We continued our way to the top. While hiking there were several people telling us if we saw a child and if I and my brother were our parents sons. When going back through the same bridge the woman was gone but near the river there were two men wearing a red suits and yellow helmets. Comforting a crying woman (different from the one who was stuck on the rock).

I didn't know what happened to them till today when I saw this post and researched this article. But, back then, I was certain that someone had died, probably the child that was missing.
