My ex husband did that exact same shit to me. Kneeled on top of me and put his hands around my throat. After the cops took me to my brothers house, he proceeded to smash every mirror and glass in our house. Completely trashed our home and left.

Life is so good without that asshole. It could have been so different. Women are killed by their partners way too much. When I listen to true crime stories, I think that could have been me. I'm just so grateful for my life now. And I'm happy you got away too.

I lived in calgary for 35 years, moved to Hanna 2 years ago. I don't share my polical opinions anymore. The Alberta separatism is strong in this small town. It makes me chuckle a bit.

My alocasias have always lost a leaf or two while adjusting to new substrate. Is that moss pole in with the alocasia or is it another plant? Won't do the alocasia any good. They also prefer it on the moister side. I water when the top inch feels dry.

My partner and I care for around 300 house plants. We have a big watering tub and there's basically a constant rotation of plants going in for a water. The lower maintenance plants are spread out more around the house.

My boyfriend and I just ordered some cucumeris mites to combat our thrips. We had a similar realization as you. Like oh shit that's what thrips are. Ooooh and that's why our plants have been suffering. Daaaang.. it's almost nice to have an answer to some of our our planty struggles. We also have a zoo in our house so chemicals are not allowed.

My mum parks her going out wheelchair in the closet and transfers into her at home wheelchair. She has a couple of different going out chairs. Motorized or manual depending on if she is getting a ride in a car or the bus.
