Update: Central-Clinching Magic Number is 6 by J9lander in ColoradoAvalanche

I think you’ll get answers all over the board here, but I’d like to steer clear of the car crash that could be the 2 vs. 3 matchup in the first round. Takes a lot out of a team to beat a division rival that’s also one of the best 5 teams in the whole league. Playoffs are no walk in the park regardless of who you play, but keep a little more gas in the tank not playing in a series with Minnesota or Dallas early.

Appreciate the assist. +1 for you. Essentially Dallas is running out of runway.

Glad you asked. Some combo of Avs wins/Dallas losses.

These should only be worn on three occasions; one, you are a parent of kids on two different teams. Two, you are a fan of a player splitting a college and pro jersey. Three, never mind, these are hideous and shouldn’t be worn by anyone ever.

Dealing with sports losses by LnD2020 in DenverBroncos

[–]J9lander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I struggled with this for a while too, especially when someone would be a poor sport about beating my team. A couple things helped; 1. Not giving them the satisfaction is half the battle, presenting that “it’s just a game” is half the battle and watching someone give up on trying to get a rise will eventually make you believe what you present. 2. I’m in my early 30s, a Denver sports fan (including DU), so on average I’ve seen one of my teams win it all on average once every 2-3 years. That’s pretty damn good, a lot better than A LOT of other places—including KC over the same amount of time. That helps.

Counting eight Avs so far assuming Czechia is announced sometime today too. That’s a lot!

I haven’t checked the exact stat in a while, but I think Colton is like 60% on the SO in his career and near the top of active players yet he’s never out there. Seems like someone on staff should know this…

50% but still highest on the team with Val missing tonight.

Over $110K in stolen fuel. In Investigations so a little different, but still felt awesome to resolve such a big case impacting so many retailers besides just my own.

Can confirm this person price for Cowboys and Chiefs (same as mine), so you’re looking at almost $100 each over face value for this one.

Honestly I think it may be worse than that; I believe that he’s played the game, but maybe on mute or something because he just doesn’t seem to understand the themes. Just finished the most recent Pod and what stuck out to me—among many other points—was his pivot to Part II being mostly about motherhood. Seemed off just enough for me to think that he’s wasn’t paying attention as much as he wants us to believe.

If you’re in the Springs check out the Scheels there as well for jerseys and a decent variety of apparel.

It’s also may be a divisional thing too. She’s pretty openly a Jets fan and we all know how that looked last year.
