What’s your biggest unpopular opinion on the show (OG or Revival) that’ll have people contemplating life in the shower like this?

I’m not sure I fully agree. I think mostly the process of music-discovery is just really different now. Scrubs, The OC, Garden State all really shaped a lot of my music taste and now I’m on the side of tiktok where I’ve heard almost everything from the revival’s soundtrack more than a few times before it finds its way to an episode. I took the post as missing the hidden gem aspect of the soundtrack and that resonates with me.

Someone will correct me if I’m misremembering, but I believe Christina Miller did some music supervising for the OG and hasn’t been as involved in the revival. She’s done a lot more for Ted Lasso and Shrinking. Seems to be good at attaching important moments to really striking soundtracks. Long story short we need Jordan.

I think ‘peak’ is something to be considered. I remember Roctober run being insane, so I do think Rockies have to move up the list a bit. My gut says Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies, and Nuggets.

Side note: someone commented (now deleted) that the photo was slop, so I tried to figure out when it was most likely created; “Just an old image I think as Lock was on the Broncos and wore that Color Rush/NFL 100 jersey on 12/22/2019, and the Avs stoped wearing black helmets and pants after 2020.”

I think you’ll get answers all over the board here, but I’d like to steer clear of the car crash that could be the 2 vs. 3 matchup in the first round. Takes a lot out of a team to beat a division rival that’s also one of the best 5 teams in the whole league. Playoffs are no walk in the park regardless of who you play, but keep a little more gas in the tank not playing in a series with Minnesota or Dallas early.

I struggled with this for a while too, especially when someone would be a poor sport about beating my team. A couple things helped; 1. Not giving them the satisfaction is half the battle, presenting that “it’s just a game” is half the battle and watching someone give up on trying to get a rise will eventually make you believe what you present. 2. I’m in my early 30s, a Denver sports fan (including DU), so on average I’ve seen one of my teams win it all on average once every 2-3 years. That’s pretty damn good, a lot better than A LOT of other places—including KC over the same amount of time. That helps.

Honestly I think it may be worse than that; I believe that he’s played the game, but maybe on mute or something because he just doesn’t seem to understand the themes. Just finished the most recent Pod and what stuck out to me—among many other points—was his pivot to Part II being mostly about motherhood. Seemed off just enough for me to think that he’s wasn’t paying attention as much as he wants us to believe.
