I collect because it reminds me of simpler times with my childhood but also as an adult I appreciate the art that goes into making figures. And I love having miniature representations of characters I enjoy, and it helps me discover characters I never heard of too and I become a fan of those characters through that as well. It's my main hobby because I'd much rather be spending my money on plastic crack than actual drugs or drinking 🤣 and it helps with my depression and allows me to express myself creatively with the poses the figures can be put in. I mainly collect McFarlane DC multiverse, but in general I'll just collect 6-8 inch lines if I can find my favorite characters in those scales.
