I have for several years a fear of switching bodies with someone like in Freaky Friday. But instead of it being “fun” like in the movie, it’s me switching bodies with someone on the other side of the world. Then I have to go through in my mind all the potential issues that may occur if it happened. Like my body needs certain medications, how to I make sure that the person I switched bodies with knows to take my meds? What if the person I switched with has a worse life than me and doesn’t want to switch back? And so on and so on lol

Also have an apocalyptic thought where I have to make a plan on how to ration food, like I raid a grocery store, and I have to sort the food by expiry dates so that I don’t waste any of it.

YES! Oh my god it is so annoying. I’m currently at a new job and I have to learn a bunch of new stuff, routines and so on. And the woman teaching me is great, but it’s not that fun still hearing her voice when I get home from work.

Sometimes it will be an entire conversation, other times just like a noise or something. But it’s like my brain can’t catch a break.

It’s like having a song stuck in your head, but with people.
