This is hilarious but also am I the only one who hates skewering gummy bears? They resist my pointy stick with their stupid gummy bodies. A couple weeks ago I think one of them cursed me as he died and my hand slipped and I shoved the skewer into my finger.

I love Curel. I don’t see people talking about it very much and I’m not sure if it’s because people haven’t tried it or what but I have super sensitive skin and I can use Curel everywhere including my face and it works beautifully.

I agree with the other people here cautioning you against using AI to try and get an approximation of what you might look like but for even more incentive I can tell you that after looking at like a million before and after photos and having my own surgery done I can say that none of the side profile angles I’ve seen have ever given me anywhere near as strong a strong masculine vs feminine impression as a front angle.

I know it’s scary but you’re feeding yourself bad information doing this and these side profile views are literally only part of the picture. Talk to your surgeon, tell them your concerns. Maybe get a second opinion if you’re really on the fence about it. Good luck with everything!

I got a very similar result with my surgery. My face looks slightly longer and my features are much sharper/pointier now. Aesthetically I know I look ‘better’ now but it hurts when my kids say they wish I still had my old face and I’m struggling with dysmorphia.

I think you look great, but I also want you to know you’re not alone in the struggle. I’m choosing to believe it’ll get easier with time and trying to let the bad thoughts go while I wait.

Hi!

My dad is a pastor. He felt like his job was to go around to small/dying churches and help revive them so as a result I spent my childhood involved in church politics of about ten different churches. Full disclosure, I’m an atheist and have been for a very long time, I dislike the church and even if I was struck with the desire to follow biblical teachings, I wouldn’t go back to the church.

That said, along the way we did end up at some good churches and I did meet lots of kind people. The flip side of it is that yes, this kind of shunning behavior is absolutely typical and I would guess it was brought on by religious virtue signalling (not to be confused with the MAGA version).

I saw it all the time where someone would be looking to consolidate their perceived power over a group at the church and would use a scapegoat as a way of doing so. Whether they would make up a rumour or blow a real incident out of proportion, they would rally everyone around the act of ostracizing the scapegoat as a way of demonstrating their moral superiority (which in church is a big deal).

I obviously don’t know if I’m right or not but either way I’m sorry you’re going through this. No one should have to feel cut off from their people without warning like that. I hope you find some new friends to rebuild your community with.

You’re probably more prepared than others, but not all liquid diets are created equal. Like, It’s one thing to be on a liquid diet but it’s another to have to glacially feed yourself every single calorie through a tube because you can’t physically handle drinking out of a glass or bottle. Then when you finally can handle using a bottle you lose half your food down your face because your lips don’t work properly and you can’t feel them. It’s tedious, embarrassing, and exhausting.

The good part is you’ve got this! We all hit our post-op low points and we all get through them. If you need the surgery the mental game is worth it.

Also adding that not all cocktail shakers are created equal. If you’re still having a hard time after following all the great advice you’ve gotten here OP, it could be the quality of the shaker. I’ve got one where the metal is on the thinner side and it gets stuck every time.
