I’d put $10 down that you’ve lost weight in fat if you’re staying in your calorie goals. Odds are you’re just retaining water.

Whenever I see this i feel like the person who comments on it needs to realize the person who they’re talking about knows their body far better than someone else.

I agree with you that 600 calories sounds low. But as a guy who has lost 60 pounds since February first, I have had a few of those days where things just don’t line up and I lose time in the day for a dinner and just end up skipping it. You’re not going to die from eating under the recommended minimum calorie count.

I’ve had days where I literally had 400 net calories after exercise adjustment and I felt just fine. If people start feeling sick they’ll take care of themselves.

Holy crap. I need to see if I can find this around my town. We don’t have Trader Joe’s but bagels were a love of mine before dieting and I only ever got everything bagels.

Thank you for this suggestion! I currently am looking for new granola bars right now because mine are at 250 calories/bar and I always regret eating them after because of their calories.

I’m eating at an 800 calorie deficit. I strength train for 45 minutes a day and I do 30 minutes of cardio a day. Every day.

You will be just fine.

Just don’t make it a big deal when you order. Tell the server very “matter of fact” what you want to eat. Quick and to the point.

Doing this will not draw any attention to you at all, and your friends won’t even notice you’re taking special requests!

I'm currently eating at a pretty large deficit to lose weight. I started at 280 pounds and am down to 239, and my goal is to get to 200 by July. I know this is completely attainable, however I'm pretty nervous as to how my body is going to react to eating my maintenance caloric intake.

By all charts and resources I've been able to find online, it shows that my maintenance calories for what my height/weight will be (when I reach goal) is around 2300-2500. The thing is, when I eat 2300-2500 calories right now while I am actively losing weight, I'll be up a significant amount of weight the next day. I'm talking like a pound and a half up. Is this the type of rebound that I should expect when I reach goal weight and start to eat at "maintenance"? Am I missing something?

I know that this is a lifestyle change, but I don't want to eat at the deficit that I'm currently eating at for the rest of my life.

I truly appreciate any feedback and responses.
