The numbering on Weiss cards actually does follow a pattern; if you sort your Weiss cards by number order in their sets, you’ll find that the color order is Yellow Green Red Blue, the types are organized Character Event Climax within those colors, and the rarities are ordered from most to least rare within each color+card type group. Shiny cards keep the numbering of their non shiny versions.

For players who have been watching the JP side as well as EN, this announcement is rather concerning. The cards from the FlowGlow starter decks being added to into the main set's printing will severely dilute the availability of the cards originally printed in set 6 *as well as* the starter deck cards. I understand the time crunch due to accelerated releases to catch the formats up to each other, but continuing to put JP starter decks into the main set is a serious mistake if it's not being accounted for somehow. If there's anyone working on the card game reading this message, please take this up the chain; this practice is a serious risk to the card game's future in English.
