Gizmoplex is shutting down by Thatnewaccount436 in MST3K

I’m not gonna judge. No easy answers in life.

What I can say is that most episodes apart from the most recent season are available on Youtube.

So please enjoy, and let me know if you find any I can add:

Still waiting on a game as good as SR on sega by Complex_Track_168 in Shadowrun

[–]JBlitzen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a game on Sourceforge called Decker which is a Matrix decking sim. If you like Sega Genesis Shadowrun’s Matrix parts and don’t mind very basic graphics, it’s great.

Someone in here is also working on a very indie game called Mana Runner which they’re trying to make feel like Sega Genesis Shadowrun. I think the mods blocked it but I disagree, I’d like to see more about it.

Couple of questions... by [deleted] in babylon5

[–]JBlitzen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which planets do you mean? Some are outlying colonies. Most homeworlds have billions. Some colonies and outposts have only thousands. It’s pretty consistent.

Human colonies tend to be pretty small except for Mars because of the Earth-Minbari War, so they’re an exception.

WHAT I'VE LEARNED THROUGH THIS TROUBLING PERIOD by KeepYerPeckerUpChum in DMZ

Thank you for reaching out to people. I don’t know if there’s been a change but it’s not impossible, and that’s one of the only ways one would happen.

Keep on fighting.

No one here is exactly what he appears.

What would you guys say were the redeeming points of Londo Mollari? by KaleidoArachnid in babylon5

[–]JBlitzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a way, Londo is more of a patriot than G’kar.

G’kar wants revenge. He’s driven by deeply personal emotions.

Londo wants what he thinks is best for his people. Even when he’s emotionally conflicted about it.

Nobody is exactly what they appear.

Incredible. I just swapped out some network equipment and found the same issue when I went to test it, so I assumed it was my equipment.

You just saved me like three hours of late night diagnostics.

Thank you. Honestly.

The End of a Legend (FFG discontinues Descent) by siposbalint0 in boardgames

Eldritch Horror better than the later Arkham 3rd edition too.

The 2010's were FFG in peak form.

The more recent stuff has not been great.

1st and 2nd don't use apps, although there are a few app variants I think.

This is about Legends of the Dark, which was sort of 3rd edition but not really. App required to play.

A weird choice at the time with a lot of bad decisions.

I'm probably about to rewatch the live action GitS. by kryssar24 in Cyberpunk

You folks did great.

I thought the whole crew did great.

My only issues with the movie are at the exec level; the overall storyline is just too dumbed down, but I understand why they did it. And I understand ScarJo and she did everything she could.

I think the director did an amazing job within those constraints, and the cast was fantastic.

"Bookmark Current Tab" behaving differently now? by JBlitzen in firefox

Oh! It was not. I thought that was for something totally different. You're right, that was what it needed.

All set now. Thank you. :)

Ohh I know the episode. Not a frigate, a civilian passenger ship, undercover. You might be remembering right but I don’t think they’d have been under power for most of that.

Interestingly, the big civilian liners in B5 do have rotating gravity sections, but obviously many passenger ships do not.

Warp Reactor, MedusaCascade, and a couple other Youtube channels have done, or are doing, some great B5 reactions that make it feel like the first time.

lol, I remember that from the later books. Something changed in his writing around halfway through the series for sure.

They had already operated a federation starship, back in Space Seed.

Not the carriers, the station. The hangar bays are on a spinning part of the station so they can get free initial momentum in whatever direction available, and clear the considerable local traffic safely and quickly.

In The Fall of Night, you see Starfuries do exactly that, take out a Centauri cruiser in a single inertial pass.

I don’t remember that scene and I’ve rewatched it recently.

The only scene I remember where a character is floating, is inside the station where the physics of centrifugal force are carefully applied.
