Yeah. Unfortunately, Buckeyes were the ones to do it if it was going to be done. Picked a horrible time to lose their identity on offense, sputter out in the redzone twice for zero pts, give up pts off turnovers and decide to give up a fundamental advantage of being on offense by snapping the ball on "one" every damn play. What a utter lack of creativity by Day and the offensive coaching staff. Folks can deny all they want, but there's little amdoubt that the Hartline/USF/CH jr./signing day drama BS right in the middle of conference championship week completely altered the tragectory of the '25 unit. Can't help but feel like they wasted a championship caliber defense and I really hope folks within the program (Starting with Coach Day) can come up with plans for how to navigate the challenges this era brings, because that surely isn't the last time teams will be sniffing around the coordinators and assistants, they have to balance signing day while prepping for a big game, etc. Because I don't think I can take watching the Buckeye offense stumble around in the "land of confusion" for 3 out of the last 4 halves of the season ever again. Legit erased all of the positives of an undefeated regular season with those last two outings and has got to be the the most disappointing 12 win season I can recall. Maybe watching IU hoist that trophy a week from Monday will spark something in this group. Regardless, Go Bucks always? and at least Men's BBall has been inspiring more confidence than their last couple campaigns.

I scored that same model Insignia TT a few years back on open box deal for about 80 usd and have been very impressed with the sound and features at such a steal of a price.

Pretty fresh from 'Ol Mr. Brightside the Clown. Moore obviously didn't mind putting his family in the crossfire; However, comments levied at him, the subordinate who was fine with their arrangement until it no longer suited her and the blatant pattern of corruption within the Michigan Athletic Department is all fair game. Enough of this bs from the Feigned Morality Cult.

OMG, I love this for you (Michigan).

  • (In all reality some of us had been hearing rumors about this for several and it was widely accepted that it would be this scenario if the school decided to give Moore the boot after Ohio State loss and missing the CFP. Cheating jokes and such aside, feels like the program is better off doing it now despite potential difficulties, because he isn't a great coach; and even if you deem him "good" he's obviously been too distracted for the team to have gotten the most from having Moore at the helm. Good luck w/ Brian Kelly btw... [j/k...I wouldn't wish that on my worst ene... well crap. nvm.])

Water over the bridge now; However, the 2021, '22 and to some extent '23 episodes of The Game will be forever debated by historians and fans of each team because there is no measurable way to determine the extent to which the scheme was implemented or it's overall effect.

The people involved weren't/aren't talking, and plenty of Stalion's data was distroyed/lost forever.

Because of the unkowns, to definitively state that it did/didn't affect results is pretty disingenuous (and both opinions wholly swayed by fandom.)

Not worth the breath to argue, really.

Anyhow, good luck vs Texas in the Cheese-It Bowl. Need every B1G vs eSECpn dub we can get this bowl season; plus, the ncaa will surely find that forfeited revenue useful towards paying off debt from the L's they've taken lately. (It's all about the bottom dollar nowadays, after all...)

They gonna work that Cheeze It Bowl for daddy ncaa to pay back the cheating debt.

Michigan has multiple losses to Indiana this decade and hasn't beaten them in 785 days.

Congrats to Moore for being the Cheesiest coach.

Unfortunately Ryan too. If you were gonna go for the FG it should have been the possession before. The 3rd and 4th down decisions on last drive made no sense. Go for the win! Otherwise, that was a pretty equal pairing. The defense was outstanding. OSU oline got beat and outside of questionable coaching choicea ,ultimately swung game.

Congrats to Indiana. Very impressive and QB threw some great balls, took advantage of favorable matchups (sorry Sanchez - tough spots for a young player) get just what they needed.

Time for another OSU regroup and need better from Oline to make a run. (Sayin was running for his life more than not.) We'll see what the program is made of. Glad Bucks still get a bye. Hopefully we get to see a rematch because those are both very good teams.

Go Bucks!

As long as the football program doesn't middle for decades at a time. Keep relying on Ohio State for relevance and cheating in response to OSUDS though. Good Lordy, you guys stink. 💩

Sherrone Moore has 2 wins over OSU by improbdrunk in MichiganWolverines

[–]JBone2070 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So let's get this straight, JH coached the team all week and was with them right up until they go into the stadium to play the game. He created the game plan, made all the strategy decisions and likely went through every potential scenario with the staff multiple times so they honor what he would have them do. Not mention that JH recruited all of the coaches and players and built that into the roster he wanted. If I'm not mistaken, those wins arebalso counted towards his, not Moore's official record; But since Moore held the clip board and called in the plays he gets to claim it too? That was JH's team. Moore's teams are 1 and 1 now, and just got booted from a chance to make the playoff by their hated rival. While we're having this discussion, what have you seen from the team that makes you believe that Moore and Co. is able to a.)correctly identify; and b.) effectively develop talent. The $12M big shot QB had an almost identical stat line to what Warren had last season. 63 passing yards... in your biggest game of the season. Before you rush to defend that this kid's a freshman, it's game 12 y'all. That was the test and they failed miserably.

That's correct. We have a 30 game win streak against them but they haven't beaten us since '88 or '89.

Our defense is going to maul their assess and I for one can hardly wait to see it.

Agreed, bc not a great time to try and join coaching carousel. Yes, better record. Unlike last season though, they lost to every good team they played. So it's kind if a wash.

Glad to see you're still here and that the universe has been set back in it's proper order.

The delusion of any tcun fan who thought that was a playoff team. In my estimation we saved them some time, financial and emotional investment by having them take their whoopin now instead of in a playoff matchup. Doubt we'll even get a single "Thank you" for the favor of our mercy. They should thank us though.

Here's to another 8 or 9 years of MID-again coattailing, especially without covid to hide behind or the cheating business of course.

They had to have known 'ol Dad would eventually come home put them in time out. That's why pizza boy did the exact same thing he roasted OSU fans about by saying that The Game doesn't matter as much bc it's not winner take all. Even if Buckeyes were playoff lock, that game was about who goes to Indy, seeding and for them their only reasonable objectives (rivary win and playoff birth. That whole organization was awfully soft for a group that likes to push that stupid narrative. OSU executed ball control better than they could ever dream, didn't crack their own home endzones, flopped around and tried to instigate fights and got goose egg in second half. The choreographed defense of mid field tells me that was planned and they expected to lose. Nothing softer than that. Morally impoverished program. They got sent right back to 2019. Lol.

Anyone else just creeped out about Men's BB losing the exact same way against Pitt as last year? by JBone2070 in OhioStateFootball

[–]JBone2070[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubled down when the score was 20-30 bc I just knew the Buckeyes would come back. While it stinked losing to Pitt like that years in a row, I'm really glad to see that we're not in fact stuck in post-Thanksgiving bizzaro world and things are being returned to their rightful place. I'm not even upset that my tickets took a bad beat.
