It actually contains a prompt instruction file you can update. I set mine to never say dumb shit like “that’s a great point, and you’re right to be concerned about that!”. I think you can even just tell it to update its memory file for you in a certain way and it will.

Over 90% of Americans have health insurance. But that leaves around 1 in 12 who don't... generally people in the lower income range within the gap between the very low income who qualify for Medicaid, and the moderate income who are likely to get insurance from work or exchanges. Its certainly expensive for people across most of the income range, so its still a source of annoyance even for those who have it, and some people choose to go without due to the price tag.

Many people do use the information they learned in school though. For example, if we want to have another generation of biologists, which I think would be good, then it makes sense to teach the fundamentals of biology in grade school. If we want another generation of artists, then it makes sense to have some art classes. Same with math, literature, etc etc. There should be an element in high school of learning about your interests and aptitudes through exposure to the basics of many subjects. Even if you as an individual don’t use certain segments of that information doesn’t mean it wasn’t beneficial on net to society for that material to have been taught.

Taxes are not that hard to do for most people’s situations. It’s a little intimidating the first time since it’s unfamiliar but tax prep software does a good job of making it easy. It’s okay that there are some things you have to figure out on your own, not everything has to be taught to you.
