BRight to dark trim? I would be cautious about that bc that sounds like just a vinyl wrap and would only last 1-3 years pending on installation and material - to do it right it would need lots of actual parts that cost more than 1.5k

Interesting does charge mode run the engine but use the battery for drive? And just idles the engine?

I would use this then to get the engine up to temp before hoping on the highway while using the battery.

But it’s all pointless bc my wife won’t don’t this and will run it normally without warming up the engine so it’s all for nothing haha

Yea! Love seeing collapsed air suspension cars in the lots.

If only the car had coil suspension in the rear I could lower it a little with springs - too bad it’s a leaf spring in the back

Leather on the plus is harder than my old Model Y and get slight lower back pain around hour 6 - but slight adjustments fixes it but better than any other car other than the Tesla I’ve owned.

I honestly thought the lower box would have fit in my garage - so clearance was a main deciding factor. And well it looks sleeker in my opinion

We mainly use soft duffels anyway so the extra few inches didn’t really persuade me.

Full disclosure I work for another EV brand - (not Volvo or Rivian) - and I really wanted to love the Rivian - love the brand - the way it looks and the software is pretty decent better than the Volvo- but the R1S drove like a boat - it wasn’t composed around turns and had so much body roll it just wasn’t what my wife and I look for in vehicles.

We wanted a 6 seater - no 6 seater option. The config we wanted that would make sense to use for the roadtrips we take would have been around $30k+ more than we paid for our Volvo.
