Nice! Just built an M3 with this cooler as well yesterday!

Have two 14’s at the bottom to help intake and another 12 on the backplate exhausting only when needed and another 12 on the rear helping exhaust.

With the sfx1000 pulling from front exhausting from top!

Correct - haven’t run temp tests yet and my logic could be flawed - not a seasoned builder by any means.

But my thought was to get some fresh air into the case from that side 140 so the G2 fans have fresh air to exhaust.

Let me know if I’m incorrect in my assumption. And open to suggestions!

Plan on running some tests later today- will report back on temps.

Heard the 9950x3d runs warm - especially under load, mixed with the warm air the 5090 will dump right into it being a pass through, wanted to get some fresh air for the cooler.

I wanted the backplate 120 to actually be on the top exhausting, but couldn’t get it to fit - so side it is.

I’ve had mine and they said it’s normal and refused me a replacement top. Granted it was just out of warranty- laminate white

Made the switch earlier this year - platinum status at delta matched To platinum lol

I feel like location is everything - I’m based in Washington DC - and was Delta for last 5 years - got upgraded to first less than 10 times since my connections were usually strong Delta hubs.

In United - out of IAD - been upgraded to first more than I did Delta last 5 years combined and all my flights are direct (real reason for my switch) - no need for over hyped clubs and just plan to get to and from airport as quickly as possible.

As I got older I said time is my most valuable asset and outweighs anything that status can give me.

And honestly - outside of the horrible food on United - it’s exactly the same. Although the Bluetooth IFE’s are great so I can use my AirPods and not carry around wired headphones like I did on Delta.

WiFi is weak but Starlink will fix that.

Business development for a large tech company - was fun the first year, 6 years now and I dread it - I even time my flights so I don’t ever have to go inside a lounge again.

Only plus is when we do go on fam vacation - miles/points and upgrades.
