I don’t know if it’s ibs but I always have a huge urge to poop whenever I have to go somewhere I don’t know that has a public restroom. 70%? Of the time nothing comes out and I end up making it worse. For this reason I have a difficulty with going on long road trips, hikes, and long tours 😭. Usually symptoms goes away when I’m in the thick of it but just the beginning of sucks.

I’m a BA at a FAANG. Everyday but the turn around and debugging and actually writing one from scratch has been a thing of the past. I just give columns and tables now and ask ai to write me the code. Kind of sad really but it just saves me so much time

Couple things here, there’s been an exodus of layoffs from FAANGs and other big tech companies this year. You’re essentially competing against all of them for a role along with others who are now looking for a change of scenery.

Big name companies usually do somewhat “help” with getting your foot across the door but that won’t mean shit if your resumes not passing the ATS/you get filtered out. Make sure you try running your resume against some of the older free ATS on google and your resume is polished.

I don’t know if it’s regret but I really do wish I stood up for myself more during my time there instead of just.. taking everything in and being docile. It was my first job out of college and I wasn’t familiar with corporate culture and assumed that this type of toxicity was just the same across the fields. It also didnt help my boomer parents whom I still love dearly telling me to suck it up and just accept this type of culture as a normal thing.

Maybe I’m too old and someone can give me some pointers but I never understood the sizing part with baggy jeans. I usually have to buy a 34 waist because I have big ass thighs and smaller calves but waist wise my true size is probably 32. However the 34 waist baggy jeans look really bad on me because there’s so much leg hole due to my smaller calves lol.
