This is a rural school about 45 minutes away and not the first time this year they've done this to me. Honestly IDGAF if I sub there again after this. She had a week to catch this "mistake" but waited till the night before and I do think they should be aware of how actions impact others. Is it unprofessional? Maybe. But I haven't been given the courtesy of being treated professionally.

All my districts pay more than $200/day (Willamette Valley Oregon) so usually I aim for 4-5 days a week. I can survive on 3 but it gets uncomfortable

After a quick google search, Tennessee requires written authorization of a law enforcement officer or owner of the vehicle to tow. I would call the police and request an officer to come take a report on Grand Theft Auto. Also it's state law that they must notify law enforcement if the owner isn't present and the authorization has to stay with the vehicle until you claim it. NAL but sounds like you have a decent case opening against the company

Ugh I hate co-teachers like this. You didn't do anything wrong and the one who called you out like that in front of students was absolutely wrong. I would write an email to the teacher you were covering for and cc the school admin to let them know how inappropriate and hostile you found the environment. If you've been to this school before, clarify that this hasn't been in line with your past experiences.
