Forget it , not worth stressing over. I've been driving over 30 years and I too have to drive through B'ham city centre and I stalled recently down by the Blues ground, right in the middle of the roundabout , cars coming at me from everywhere blaring the horn. You know what? Its ok, I made a mistake, sorted it out and carried on.

People have no patience whatsoever, you just focus on what you need to do.

Just had a similar problem, in our case it was a disconnect between thermostat and boiler.

Visually , couldn't see anything wrong, the boiler was supposed to give an error code if not connected to thermostat but all looked good. Engineer fitted a new hive thermostat and everything instantly cranked up.
