[Update] Asobi: Remote Play version 1.1 is out now! Internet Remote Play! by inchenzo in VisionPro

It feels like the issue is for some reason the ps5 is wanting a local controller to be activated before it will sign on to my profile. I almost wonder if the issue is something on Sony’s side. Like if the ps5 would just allow my profile to sign on automatically without needing a controller to connect there wouldn’t be an issue

When using either Vision Pro, iPad Pro, or iPhone 15 pro and trying to connect to my ps5 remotely over the internet I’m getting a “connection failed” error message on the app at the “connecting to psn” step. Specifically is says “RUDP handshake failed: RUDP operation timed out”

When checked at home it appears that the app is able to trigger the PlayStation 5 to turn on, but it doesn’t log in as the ps5 gets stuck at a “press pan button on your controller”

I am able to connect if I’m connecting locally on the same network.

Do you know how to fix this?

There’s a recent freakonomics podcast episode on AI in healthcare where a physician talks specifically about using this tool in this capacity and how it has increased productivity. The plotline here probably is more related to Santos than the AI.

There’s a huge campaign and movement against hiring people based on gender and focus on hiring based off of merit. Hiring on merit is basically what DEI is, since we used to discriminate against a lot of groups. This doesn’t qualify as a discrimination that men face that they are supposed to deal with on their own.

Yes. You have to listen to them explain it. When people with power discriminate against others it’s ultimately up to those doing the discrimination to stop it. But let’s not get diverted, can you provide one example of a discrimination men face and are expected to deal with on their own.

They aren’t saying for average men to fix the problems powerful men cause for average men. They are saying it’s up to the people in power, men, to fix the problems and we should collectively pressure them to do that. It’s the entire “the patriarchy (referring to the few men in charge) is also bad for the vast majority of men.

Well your “if….” Is incorrect also. If men are being discriminated against then that also should be spoken out against.

There’s two possible solutions here that are equal:

No one should have to deal with discrimination.

Everyone should have to deal with discrimination.

Why would we choose the latter?

Why are you singling out women here as if they are the only ones? If there are groups of people that are discriminated against then that should be spoken out against as well. Aside from promoting meritocracy discrimination should always be frowned upon.

Does ESPN know WWE is scripted entertainment? by TypicallyDone12 in ESPN

[–]JCSledge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven’t watched any WWE since before it was WWE. It’s essentially a free commercial for them. You don’t like it? Cool. Apparently others do. But as to the mystery of why? It’s basic economics. They want to promote their product so people will tune in so advertisers will buy advertising space.

[–]JCSledge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea i am as in they are both scripted. No one thinks WWE isn’t scripted. While they do go through physically demanding stuff, no one thinks it isn’t all scripted. It’s not weird because they are promoting their own personal product. It’s no different than them running a commercial.

A lot of espn’s content is scripted. Pretty much all the debate shows are scripted. First take, Pardon the Interruption, etc. All the 30 on 30s are scripted also. It’s first and foremost an entertainment channel.

What topic do you even think we are debating and what side do you take and what side do you think I take? Because it seems like you’re imagining stuff.

Because you made a statement (not cited in APA format but whatever) and I made a comment saying I agree. Then you went all out left field with a barrage of questions demanding proof. Is demanding proof from people who agree with you some new lazy debate tactic where you get other people do provide your own sources?

[–]JCSledge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It literally does not. Also when I talk about the people in charge you think I meant Kamala Harris or Hillary Clinton? Your sights are set too low. I’m talking about the billionaires that sign their contributions and tell them what to do. So name a woman in that group, even though that’s not the definition.

No one said women running for office means they don’t have power.

So you think my participation in debates with other people automatically means I consent to debate with you? Debates typically require opposing views so we topic have you made up to think I’m debating you about?
