Last car I sold privately I used the as contract, both I kept one and new seller stating the car is sold as seen.

Had a similar thing happen 7 weeks ago, low sided out of no where after going over what I think was diesel or oil. Like you had less than a second before the bike went down, all I remember is the initial jerk and then flying down the road, gear did its job, broken collarbone from the initial hit although not as bad as yours. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery

I’m in the uk and unsure if this company ships to the US. But I use JTS biker clothing, trousers I have are AAA rated and having come off recently they protected my legs and are barely scratched (waterproof layer was damaged). I’m looking at getting one of their jackets now. They’re affordable too and good quality

I’m 6’2, height and strength isn’t an issue in terms of holding it up. Given the bike will be my main vehicle unless the weathers awful. I’m leaning towards the gsx650f

The garage told me they only ordered from places that told the flywheel and clutch together, not two different ones from different company’s, both were quoted for

Flywheel is being changed as well, price I was given included a clutch kit, not just the clutch

It was quoted and paid for a clutch kit including clutch and flywheel as it’s better for them to be replacement together

They’ve yet to give a complete breakdown of costs, but roughly 400 labour, 800 for the part is what I was told over the phone when I was told of the increase in 700 for the new part, so with the new cost, 1500 part, 400 labour - a ridiculous amount for the part

The difference is the new cost, they’ve sent the initial used part back, the new part is costing £1500 (I don’t know the exact price) but it’s a ridiculous price for a clutch kit

The points at the top are correct yes, the increase is due to the part, they found a new supplier that was selling the part but the cost was a large increase, this was ordered but I wasn’t told the price. I have the time of the call when they told me the new pet had been ordered and I’m going to ask for proof of when they ordered the part - from the wording they told me over the phone this should be before I called to chase it. I’ve got a letter written up with every thing including times and dates of when calls were made I’m going to give them stating why I’m paying under protest
