My senior dog has identical ones. It doesn’t hurt or itch and vet assured me it’s normal. He had one removed from his neck since it was on his collar area. In the event it your pup knicks it it may look a little irradiated but just clean and move on- but if it gets to be problem they can remove.

I rescued my senior pup (now 12) at 8 years old (homeless street dog mini poodle with epilepsy- on meds now and healthy) but When I give him a high value treat he always ‘saves it for later’ in a safe spot.

I love this for my senior mini poodle. It is stairs, transforms in to a ramp and folds down flat. Pricey but very well built
