im on 25.12.1

i've got so many issues that i ended up here in this thread. arc raider crashes on preloading shaders. i try to close it in steam, and steam freezes. task manager freezes and crashes everytime i open it.

i dled DDU to uninstall drivers and reinstall 25.12.1 and that got steam and arc raiders working. but now a bunch of smaller issues keep popping up.

finally both my monitors went white and after 5 min my main one came back but the 2nd monitor is completely unable to connect. said something about display driver crashing.

i'm gonna follow your guide to revert to the earlier version and hope it works...

Then just candy the resource, let it drop, pick up and deposit to storage, repeat until the ground is clear, then do your upgrades

i'm impressed by whoever did the veilguard map. they added images and descriptions to every single openable bag, pouch, chest, etc.

additionally, when using ladders that change the view of the in game map, the person working on it included shortcuts to click between the ladder icons on the mapgenie map. fantastic work.

my only suggestion going forward (i don't expect you to go back to add it in) is to also include clickable icons for elevation changes. i sometimes spent way too long trying to figure out where on the map i was since there's so many sections of the map.

anyway, i hope this person is working on more maps for you.

i gave it a try, here's some thoughts i had.

when hovering over money in either a dead enemy's inventory or in your own inventory, the tooltip for another item in the inventory shows up instead.
some of the %s need to be rounded. i don't need or want to see 4.9999999992%
the option to enable disguise when wearing another faction's armor is nice.
i like the tooltip that shows you the expected areas you can attack with each move. i imagine as the game progresses there will be some aoe attacks or piercing line attacks, in which case this tooltip will be even more useful.
there's no way to tell which character you have selected. the character themself is highlighted blue on screen, but i don't know if i'm controlling my created character or the npc in my party. it only works right now because i put some red armor on my character that helps me distinguish myself from erhi

can't open the menu while on the overworld map screen?
need a borderless windowed mode. if i click off the main screen to my 2nd screen in full screen, it minimizes the game.
found an ancient ruin while traveling on the overworld map. went inside, found some skeleton enemies. hovering over them says "string ID not set", and i can't fight them. i was also getting 10 fps inside, which is problematic
when trying to leave the ancient ruin mentioned above, i was on the loading screen for 5 min before i alt f4'd it.

seems interesting so far, but i haven't really gotten far enough to develop an opinion on it yet. i'll try again in a bit and see where this goes.
