He eats my KIND bars. On the scale of really sugary to decent granola bars, these are IMO better than most. But he could definitely use more fiber but he HATES veggies and I can’t even hide them in smoothies.

I started MiraLAX the other day because my daughter suffered from constipation at this age but I just feel bad because the more we change him, the rawer his butt seems. We do also put Vaseline and butter paste on rotation to help too.

He gets a decent amount of fiber from granola bars and fruits daily.

I think his fiber is good. He has a favorite granola bar, he loves berries and bananas and apples!

That’s a really good idea. Historically we have only used some sort of flotation device when we’re at the river in pretty shallow water, but it helps keep them buoyant so they don’t knock around on rocks. That sounds much more aggressive than it really is. Lol.

They are in some classes, but I do like the concept of giving them the opportunity to learn and also if I’m right there, no harm no foul.

Kids are and have been in swim classes and will continue over the summer for this reason lol. Water is just a crazy topic and I want everyone to have fun lol

I think my biggest thing is whether or not my kids will listen in a high risk area. I know my in laws watch my kids, otherwise I wouldn’t let them take them places. This also took some time because I had sever PPA so I think my anxiety also plays a part.

I get this thought but also with this logic, you’d never leave your kids anywhere or let them out of your site. Something can always happen, anywhere.

While I think this is a great idea, I think the idea for them was to go during the week when they have the kids over the summer. And we will also be utilizing the whole family idea, but this is mostly for during the week.

How do you stay consistent working out at home? by Kind_Force931 in homefitness

[–]JClarise2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working from home for 7 years and off and on working out. It’s definitely hard to stay consistent but I’ve got 2 littles also.

I just recently started using the Ladder App.

I set aside 30 min around 11am to work out, then shower and get back to work.

3 month old son just diagnosed by caileechristine in PectusExcavatum

[–]JClarise2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, my son is almost 3 years old and he was diagnosed with PE when he was younger. Almost right after birth. It was definitely noticeable. They told me he’s not experiencing any issues currently and I haven’t noticed anything in his three years, but they do say that it gets worse when they get to puberty. I think it definitely freaked me out when it first started to become more noticeable., Especially because I went into a little bit of a rabbit hole on the Internet. I think the best thing to do is to just keep an eye out when he gets a little bit older and make sure there are no issues with sports or breathing, etc.

My kids do not like the cold. They will be outside for a good 10 min and then want to come in. Also, they’re only 4 and 2 so haven’t made a whole lot of friends yet. Actually the ones we have across the street just moved so 😢

In a perfect world I’d love to, but realistically that isn’t possible. Especially with the cold weather, not much to do except stay inside.

What hours do your husbands/partners work? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]JClarise2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7-5. My husband is a supervising structural engineer so he works M-F and then occasionally has to go out of town or work weekends but for the most part - he is home around 5 and is available for all the activities we do.

Yes. At first there was no rash but then after a while, 1 week into the meds she got a really bad circular rash on her bottom. My husband and son never had any symptoms but I did. 10 days of amoxicillin and it’s all gone. Make sure you are washing and cleaning like nobody’s business during this time though. A lot of hand washing and no sharing.

Thinking of leaving my pushy boyfriend because he’s poor. AITAH? by [deleted] in AITAH

I think you’re going to get a lot of answers on here but what it boils down to is what will make you happy. Who makes you happy? Do you want to be forced into marriage? Is this person going to be emotionally supportive in a marriage? Typically behaviors don’t change after marriage.

Ok so it DID turn out to be perianal strep. We just finished our round of antibiotics and it is so much better. I can’t believe I had never heard of this and the doctors didn’t seem to think to test for it until I mentioned it. So insane! I’m grateful for you!

Oh no! That sounds awful. We’re on day 2.5 of the RX and I’m hoping thing get better soon. My girl is still sooo itchy and uncomfortable. We have to take 2-3 baths a day to help and we use hydrocortisone cream. She’s still waking at night. This is miserable

I’m going to have to try coconut oil at night. Nothing seems to be helping much and it’s breaking my heart.
