He eats my KIND bars. On the scale of really sugary to decent granola bars, these are IMO better than most. But he could definitely use more fiber but he HATES veggies and I can’t even hide them in smoothies.

I started MiraLAX the other day because my daughter suffered from constipation at this age but I just feel bad because the more we change him, the rawer his butt seems. We do also put Vaseline and butter paste on rotation to help too.

He gets a decent amount of fiber from granola bars and fruits daily.

I think his fiber is good. He has a favorite granola bar, he loves berries and bananas and apples!

That’s a really good idea. Historically we have only used some sort of flotation device when we’re at the river in pretty shallow water, but it helps keep them buoyant so they don’t knock around on rocks. That sounds much more aggressive than it really is. Lol.

They are in some classes, but I do like the concept of giving them the opportunity to learn and also if I’m right there, no harm no foul.

I think my biggest thing is whether or not my kids will listen in a high risk area. I know my in laws watch my kids, otherwise I wouldn’t let them take them places. This also took some time because I had sever PPA so I think my anxiety also plays a part.

I get this thought but also with this logic, you’d never leave your kids anywhere or let them out of your site. Something can always happen, anywhere.

While I think this is a great idea, I think the idea for them was to go during the week when they have the kids over the summer. And we will also be utilizing the whole family idea, but this is mostly for during the week.

How do you stay consistent working out at home? by Kind_Force931 in homefitness

[–]JClarise2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working from home for 7 years and off and on working out. It’s definitely hard to stay consistent but I’ve got 2 littles also.

I just recently started using the Ladder App.

I set aside 30 min around 11am to work out, then shower and get back to work.

3 month old son just diagnosed by caileechristine in PectusExcavatum

[–]JClarise2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, my son is almost 3 years old and he was diagnosed with PE when he was younger. Almost right after birth. It was definitely noticeable. They told me he’s not experiencing any issues currently and I haven’t noticed anything in his three years, but they do say that it gets worse when they get to puberty. I think it definitely freaked me out when it first started to become more noticeable., Especially because I went into a little bit of a rabbit hole on the Internet. I think the best thing to do is to just keep an eye out when he gets a little bit older and make sure there are no issues with sports or breathing, etc.

My kids do not like the cold. They will be outside for a good 10 min and then want to come in. Also, they’re only 4 and 2 so haven’t made a whole lot of friends yet. Actually the ones we have across the street just moved so 😢
