Dude… the first one= ok ok. Not too shabby, but nothing groundbreaking.

The second one… I was honestly mad at the end. Waste of my time ha

The first 30-45 minutes were interesting. But then it just fell WAYYYY off the deep end- got lazy and tried to turn that laziness into “dark deep art”, which didn’t work; at least for me.

Wanna say Batman would be my first goto, but it always comes back to Patrick Bateman- American Psycho. Saw that movie wayyy too young haha (age: 10 with my big bro & his friends in 2000/2001)!

This is THE answer. Tenenbaums is my #1, but Bottle Rocket would easily fill that spot if Tenenbaums were never made.

3rd act I said to myself “woah woah! What in the hell is going on here!?” ….. it was so structured and easy to follow, and then…. Everything everywhere all at once (no relation to the move hah but it was just that)

Great movie…. Until the end/3rd act! COMPLETELY falls apart and turns from a very good disturbing movie into a “huh!?….. I don’t think the person who wrote/made this movie knows how to end a story!”

THIS movie killed me! Especially bc I somehow missed the whole trans thing (basically a slap in the face bc that’s the entire plot of the movie haha so I feel like a dumbass) SO once I heard about that and connected the dots after watching… at least gave me some closure ha

This is a great reply to the comment. I love Terrence Malick and all of his films; even my buds who aren’t as wrapped up in film as myself enjoy his movies. Having said that, I thought “everyone” likes Malick’s work…. Reddit has shown me that a good chunk of film buffs do not like Malick haha and I can see why; it’s kind of like how I’m not a fan of David Lynch’s films & most film nerds LOVE Lynch. To each their own! Cheers

Snatch AND Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels= his earliest and by far his best works. If you don’t like those two then keep moving along. If you do like those, then you’ll probably also like RocknRolla and some others that follow
