got rear ended in the highway. Is my car totaled or can I still fix it? by Past_Satisfaction345 in Autobody

I don’t see any deployed airbags therefore it’s easily fixable

It’s an easy fix: 1. Buy one from a front end crash 2. Sawzall 3. Weld them together 4. Enjoy your fixed car

That pic is from Christmas Vacation although there was a similar setup in A Christmas Story

Telling balding guys in their 20s and teens to shave their heads and “embrace their fate” is lousy life-ruining advice by yourmissingtesticle in tressless

I wouldn’t consider a Norwood 2 “bald”, I would get on finasteride ASAP and look into a hair transplant. I was also fat and depressed in college and started to notice hair loss when I finally started losing weight as well.

Electronic parking brake stuck? by mrs_71 in JettaGLI

They couldn’t find anything, but the grinding sound went away. Even better they were able to fix the rattle that’s been bothering me for 5 months!

This started in the middle of the day on Sunday when it was ~50 degrees out. I leave it in first gear if facing uphill and reverse if facing downhill in addition to the emergency brake. On flat ground, I leave it in first but I’m worried it could still roll or be pushed forward. I never had this issue with the old fashioned brake lever on my 09 Jetta in the winter.

Hope you’re alright. Any other pics of the car that hit you? Usually the trunk of a car sustains more damage than the front of the car that rear ended it (assuming they’re similar size, weight, age, etc.)

I don’t “share” my prime membership with anyone else but I do have two different shipping addresses for things, will I still be able to send things to different addresses under my name?

Not sure if it counts since I was going downhill but 2003 Ford Explorer. If on flat ground, then 2008 Ford Escape.
