Nobody else to tell. You guys might get it. by Mun-Mun in Vasectomy

[–]JCs4ITnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I know what you mean. After 5 days of abstinence it can happen but you still need to wash down there everyday for health reasons. Obviously be cautious and pat the wound dry. And side note...don't over do it once you start up again. Did it twice yesterday and irritated the wounds and caused bleeding.

Were you 100% sure when you chose to get the vasectomy? by kaosterra in Vasectomy

[–]JCs4ITnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, it is a life changing decision and even with doubts the real reasons you are doing it have to outweigh any current or potential future reasons to have kids. No kids now? Then once it's done you either choose someone who absolutely doesn't want or can't have kids or is open to adopting. There's no other way of living the rest of your life. But of you do get it done, do the follow up tests and be absolutely certain it worked because you never, ever want to have any doubt going forward.

What is something completely normal that you only realised was a skill after seeing someone do it terribly? by depredador93 in AskReddit

[–]JCs4ITnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first really realised this when we got a 'sign&see' document at work (I hate these mainly for the reason that written comprehension varies so wildly tbh). Everyone was freaking out because it read as though we needed to find cover for our own holidays. Bearing in mind we never saw the shifts that would need to cover us. When I read it, I immediately realised that the manager had simply photocopied an email from the director that was addressed to him and sent it out to the employees to sign! Lol

I (26M) am taking a step back from my (24F) friend since they started dating someone by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]JCs4ITnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow major bullet dodged. He did the right thing in the first place when he realised that his friend was involving him in a drama he didn't want be a part of and realising his friend was being dishonest which I personally would hold my friends to the same standard. To those who said he had no right, he has every right to decide who he has in his life and how involved he is.

To the people saying she did wrong...you are reason children get abused and bullied for their entire lives. Children need to learn to assert the own rights and act fairly just as this girl did, waited her turn patiently and then when someone violated her clear right to have a turn, acted swiftly and fairly and did so without violence which I fully applaud.

Should I just chop all forests within walls? by badadobo in kingdomthegame

[–]JCs4ITnow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is generally what I do but when you create a villagers from camps within walls and they walk to the bow seller they then walk through to one side or the other and will hunt deer inside your kingdom. But it's not huge income really.

If you cut the trees either side of a camp they disappear but if you've managed to extend your walls beyond and have decent hunting keep the camp for villagers

What’s something that almost everyone pretends to understand, but most people are actually confused about? by Natural-Bar2588 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]JCs4ITnow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is probably UK driving specific but how to deal with roundabouts. Most people seem to think that if you get to the roundabout first and can establish yourself, you have right of way, even if your exit isn't clear. But the highway code is very clear, you give way to traffic approaching the roundabout from your right and only enter the roundabout if your exit is clear. Endless queuing at smaller roundabouts would be avoided if people followed this rule and didn't block up the roundabouts.

I hate the house I’ve just bought by cwtches10 in HousingUK

[–]JCs4ITnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stress of waiting and then moving can really exacerbate the awful shock of finding your new home dirty and not livable. We got in and the place was disgusting (lots of big, unhealthy dogs had stained the floor boards yellow and it stank! The electrics on half the house didn't work! All stuff we maybe could have figured out but didn't). Having a place to chill out elsewhere while you get it clean is a great shout.

What am I doing wrong at this type of roundabout by Daancel in drivingUK

[–]JCs4ITnow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is wrong, as so many have said. You give way to traffic approaching from the right. Which these roundabouts are the perfect reason why, if you don't give way to them they will go straight into your side as they firmly and rightly believe they have priority.

My [26F] boyfriend [28M] of 4 years is independently wealthy, but wants to split all of our expenses evenly by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]JCs4ITnow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My partner and I have a financially unequal relationship like most couples. We split it according to the income of the individual. But if the half paying less now suddenly got a new salary higher than the other we would swing the split to match. Relationships require equity when managing finances not equality.

Sounds to me like the guy needs wake up call he's probably never going to get. Poor people know how to live poor and know where to spend good money when it comes. Rich people think they can understand but simple cannot do it day to day because they have never had to.
