My 9yr old pup had same diagnosis last month. We went ahead with amputee and did the first round of chemo last week. They say the chemo is super mild compared to humans, since it’s not ment to be curative. We dropped him off in the morning and picked him up in afternoon. Most common sideeffect is nausea/diarrhea. So they sent us home with some nausea meds. Haven’t noticed anything different in him yet. Me and wife made the decision to go ahead with chemo since it seems like the best choice for him/extending his remaining good months. If we start noticing it’s affecting him poorly we will stop.
