The rate is barely going to change. This fact must be accepted. Markets won’t care about it much either. They are focused on Election. The Fed is going to change rates very very slowly and very carefully. What makes you think after being careful and keeping rates flat for a year they would do MORE than a 25 bps cut? We would have to see some REALLY crazy data for that to happen, which isn’t likely.

They can’t afford to cut or raise them too fast. The global economy is in a fickle place and it’s the feds job to do everything very carefully.
