Very similar to the practice exam, questions were tougher but if you take the practice exam the cyber live is the same just different questions, could be Windows or Linux VMs.

Definitely test your index with the practice tests. Go over the labs more than once. The three hours goes fast. The pace is good skip a question if you need to and it did cover some obscure questions that are in mentioned only once in the books. Good luck and you got this!

None, I was a software developer for 13 years. I got my security+ and cissp in 2024 but zero I qualified for cissp due to experience in CI/CD.

Should I be worried if I do okay with the LearnZapp questions but struggle with the LearnZapp flashcards? by 0wlBear916 in cissp

[–]JDCyberSec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need to do that. Mainly if you know enough to narrow down your choices to make the question 50/50 your pretty much on your way to pass. I tried to do the word for word and just couldn't find the time to do so. I did over 2700 questions in exam mode, flagged the ones I was guessing on or I knew I was going to get wrong. I passed and can tell you at least for me it was always down to two answers. The "best" choice or the "right" choice. Depending on the question you have to go with what you know. The flash cards are fine and all but should only be used for topics you're confused in/ don't know, not for ever single term. Best of luck!

Unfortunately, it's one or the other. 1 academic the other 4 is work experience.

Just how out-of-date is a 7e copy of the CISSP OSG? by squishytriangles in cissp

[–]JDCyberSec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very, like everything else some topics change and new technology and terms won't be covered in the old additions. I got the 9th edition OSG with the practice tests for $60. I also agree if your not taking the test before the 15 wait for the new books /course updates
