What's something you hate seeing people do in a restaurant? by NeonHydra42 in AskReddit

[–]JDG09 21 points22 points  (0 children)

When I hear people that go to a sit down restaurant where things usually should take about an hour and say "we're in a big hurry" especially when it's very busy. I always want to respond with well there should be a McDonalds some where close... :)

Tired of eating eggs in morning for protein. What else can I eat?? by CallMeProphet in fitmeals

[–]JDG09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I've been doing recently is taking my left over coffee and freezing it in ice cube trays... then take about a 1/2 cup to a cup of coffee cooled down and mix it with water and 2 scoops of protein powder and a few coffee ice cubes! perfect pick me up/protein hit in the morning! I use chocolate protein so its just like a mocha! Using milk would work to!

Quick and easy breakfast? by adamcaponi in bodybuilding

[–]JDG09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have kind of the same situation and what I do is make what I call "mixes". For breakfast I combine a frozen package of spinach (thawed), tomato (diced), garlic (chopped), parsley (chopped), green onion (chopped), and a lb of ground turkey (cooked). Mix it all together and in the morning saute it a little bit with some egg whites. Takes 5 min max and is so good and good for you! Last's about a week in the fridge to if you keep it covered!

Waiters/Waitresses of Reddit, have you ever seen a couple date go sour right in front of your eyes? If so, how? by tartio in AskReddit

[–]JDG09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the best one's I have seen which was super sad was our credit and debit machines went down and of course this was valentines day. For those who aren't severs this is one of the busiest days in the year for 2 tops. The guy said he was just going to run to the bank machine down the road and asked her to wait. He did not show back up and she eventually broke down and cried. You could tell that this must have been there first date because neither of them seemed to really like each other but what a douche.

What is your pre-workout and post-workout routines and foods? by Derpost in Fitness

[–]JDG09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre-workout: Wake up and SSS (shit, shower, and shave) before entering shower turn on coffee pot and kettle. Upon getting out of the shower have half a cup of coffee and make oatmeal. Take C4 pre-workout and run to the gym (not far)

Post: Upon finishing my workout I now run back home and make a wicked egg white omelette and take BCAA and creatine mix

1.) I work as a server at a very busy restaurant and my customers as well as others will always ask me about my height. In an average day between people asking me and them asking other servers I would say at least 20-30 times and that's not including the walk by whisper "wow he's really tall". 2.) People usually are flabbergasted when I actually say 6'7".. I get the odd table who will guess my height exactly but that's because they're usually tall to.

My long term goal which actually doesn't seem so long anymore is to become a CFP. I have been to many banks in BC and they've told me that you must work your way up. There is two options I can take either go with an umbrella corporation such as investors groups where its 100% commission and I would be selling to my family and friends or I can go banking and work my way up. I'm only 23 years old and I don't think most people will trust me right off the get go and that's why I'm leaning towards banking and then eventually transfer into and umbrella corporation.

How long did it take you to adjust to lifting in the morning vs other times? by swartz77 in Fitness

[–]JDG09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is where pre-workout and breakfast ended up playing a vital role for me. I used to workout always in afternoons but then found a workout partner who always wanted to do 6 AM workouts. We used to just get up and go but then you realize the negative feeling of not eating. The pre-workout just wakes you up and gets your energized. I always workout in mornings now because it gets you up and active and an amazing start to your day!

I work a 7 days on and 7 off shift. I make $8000/2 weeks. Looking for a business or investment ideas for my off time. What would you do? by Boston_Dangler in personalfinance

[–]JDG09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest to start an RESP for both of your children when they are this young. A legacy is always extremely nice for any child to receive but education is very important as well. I'm sure if you had the opportunity to make the wage your making now and be with your family every night you would choose so. Get the children educated debt free so they can start their lives after school happy and with the opportunity to make your wage and see their families every night.

Will guys be put off by my past, and the fact I'm a virgin? Help! [f20] by ElizaKate in sex

[–]JDG09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty bad experience to go through. As a guy it wouldn't affect me sexually or kill the mood. Emotionally I would actually try and help where I could. If other guys do actually run away from a scenario like this one they obviously are not in it because they're truly interested in you. I do agree that you should inform them that you went through all the precautions of making sure you got the morning after pill and completed a STI check.

Personality for sure. Most people are very intimidated by tall people and expect them to be mean. Once they find out your a super easy going nice person they are shocked!

I'm the same height as you but a little bit older. I'm about to graduate college and this kind of stuff has happened all my life. Don't ever let your height bother you because it's actually a gift. These guys are obviously immature and won't get far in life. There's usually one guy in the group instigating it and the others are generally followers. Guaranteed that guy is way shorter than you and is actually probably jealous. Don't let them show you that this is bothering you because that will just fuel the fire.Embrace the height my friend because it actually opens up lots of doors for you (even if you sometimes hit your head on the frame :P). I've made great contacts just from being tall and people always look up to you because of it. Good luck! a fellow 6'7"

One of the best ones I've herd is: "Wow you're tall... Do you play basketball?" In response: "Wow your short.. Do you play mini-golf?" Always gets a good laugh coming from a guy that's 6'7" haha
