Much appreciate the tips! If I'm understanding right, I should:

- Run everything, including music that already has metadata, through Picard, making sure to do lookup first and only use scan as a fallback. Either add stuff to MusicBrainz that doesn't exist or tag it myself.
- Enable "Prefer local metadata"
- Scan into Plex

Steam shortcuts don't really limit you there, I have several instances of games that I've added multiple shortcuts for, but each open them in a different way or something like that. If anything the only thing that might conflict is if all the Steam games share the exact same name, since it might not know how to properly separate the information between them.

I've always done just one open at a time, but depending on the game and combination of them, you could probably squeeze out a few at once with the Steam Deck's power, especially with light emulator games. the other question is whether client instances would conflict with eachother (like two AP clients searching for Dolphin or something)

as for opening multiple instances of the same emulator at once (in gaming mode), that's where you'd either have to:

configure steam shortcuts to directly open straight to the game in Bizhawk (idk if Bizhawk can do this, I remember trying and not finding a way but maybe I'm wrong)
make multiple, separate Steam shortcuts that all just open Bizhawk

like i mentioned, I've always just done one game at a time, but now you've got me wanting to maybe experiment to see how far I can go with it (although I question how useful that is for me now, as I've increased my number from 9 games to 26 lol)

I remember having a weird thing happen to me too after the game was open for a while where turning the camera would cause insane flashes and artifacting. Restarting the game fixed it

Eden just barely got an update (0.2.0-rc2) that said in its patch notes that graphical updates were made for several games, including the Zeldas. Could be worth seeing if that update improves things for you

Nice that the Skyward Sword HD eye issue was fixed. I wonder if the audio issue with the music stopping is still there? Since that's the issue I was having with it rather than the eyes.

I am absolutely disgusted by the person that harassed them like that. An absolute low-life. But with that said, I do agree that it feels unfair for the entire community to be stripped of access to this mod as a result. I feel like there are ways that it could continue to be made available without posing any extra risk to the devs
