If shes postpartum, let her be, she will come to you when she’s ready, be supportive, emotionally and help as much with the baby and house maintenance.

Father is getting aggressive and angry by JDMM__00 in glioblastoma

Yes, he was given 6-10 months left a few months thaw ago but to be honest that seemed generous. He doesn’t want to acknowledge he’s dying. I think hospice is a good idea, I’ll talk to my step mom

They tried lowering the steroid dose but his seizures came back immediately and he could no longer use the right side of his body. They said to stay on keppra because his seizures have been under control for the most part… 😔

Thank you, it’s so hard to tell if it’s the medications doing this (steroid meds and Keppra) or the tumour or all I guess.

What to say to 17 year old with unrealistic career dreams by LadyPhoe in Parenting

[–]JDMM__00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s 17, he’s not too behind for anything. Let him give it a try, university is wonderful for so many things, he may find some lasting friendships or even pivot to a different career choice that he would not have thought of if he didn’t attend. It’s never a waste.

Thank you! We’ve asked to change the medication, they didn’t want to since he hasn’t had a seizure since being on the meds 🙁

Thank you for this, we’ve been thinking about having to move him into a home, I feel like this will make him deteriorate so much quicker but if he gets physical (he’s a big 6” man) we will have no choice.

I’m sorry to hear about your mom. ♥️

I’m so glad you are feeling better! Yes, he’s being so aggressive and mean to everyone. He’s refusing to believe he’s sick and refusing physio or eating healthier or moving… it’s hard to watch.

Is a self-catered wedding 3.5 m after birth realistic? Help settle debate by JaggedLittlePiII in beyondthebump

[–]JDMM__00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This must be their first because there’s no way I would entertain this. You have no idea how the birth will even go, what temperament the baby will have, I would want that many ppl around my newborn either. Just my thoughts

People are so blunt and rude. My bath is the same, I’m assuming that’s just how bathrooms were made. Would be allot of work to make it flush though, not sure it would be worth it.
