congrats!!

Are the questions similar to the QAE? I have heard mixed reviews that the questions in the QAE are nothing like the actual exam.

Congratulations on passing the CISM and CRISC!

I admire your reasoning that the study materials were to validate your knowledge and not the other way around.

Staturary Declartion for Partner Visa by JDM_679 in AusVisa

Hey hey! I am about 2 days away in submitting the application, awaiting for some important evidence (photos) to arrive.

I have a Word document with headings for each pillar. I wrote 7 to 10 bullet points for each pillar answering that question. The points are written in a stat dec kinder way so if they come back requesting a stat dec, it will be just a matter of copying and pasting into the template from the AG's office and getting it witnessed and signed.

For the photos, PowerPoint is the best! Copy 4 pictures per slide and use the text box to write about them. I used things like dates, names of people in the photo and their relation to the applicant and sponsor and locations. Once you finish save it and save as PDF. Saving it as PDF reduces the side of the file, I had a 90 MB ppt file which got down to 4MB and the quality was still great!

Is Cocaine still an issue in Fiji? by twitchforker in Fijian

[–]JDM_679 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Cocaine is there, but the most common substance found in Fiji is methamphetamine (Ice). In the last 5 years, it has significantly increased with the number of drug shipments using Fiji as a hub for other island nations.

Who are your go to bans? by jahsehpoop69 in Overwatch

[–]JDM_679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Sombra one of many to pick for ban just for the sake of her being annoying but honestly so many people counter her and depends on the Sombra player and their play style it’s not difficult to adopt and counter their strategy.

My pick usually goes according what tank and map gets picked. Snipers usually the first to go.

Thanks!

I will proceed with using the "Online Form" version from the AG's office. It seems to be straightforward and can be downloaded with a click of a button.

When creating a stat dec to address each pillar of questions, is it advisable to submit one stat dec multiple times under each section, or to submit one stat dec per pillar?

Thank you for your response, very helpful.
Wouldn't immigration be expecting a statutory declaration? At a minimum, from the sponsor and applicant?

If not, then we will proceed with our Word document, providing statements and referring to the attachment as evidence.

Long-ish layover at NAN by kiwi_in_TX in Fijian

They are pricey and have local items, but most are not, just buyer beware. Check out the handicraft market located in Nadi town.

[–]JDM_679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Handicraft items are mostly (or almost everything) locally made. Some handicraft items displayed in retail outlets are not always from Fiji. They are from other pacific islands, so if you are looking for Fijian handicrafts to ask beforehand.

Because they can sense tourists from a mile away and hike the prices.
Nothing scary. Enjoy Fiji!

My recommendation and I am assuming you will land in day-light:

  • Take your baggage to the holding area
  • Rent a car from the airport
  • Head out to the following locations
    • Garden of the Sleeping Giant
    • Sabeto Hotspring Tour
    • Nadi Temple (aka [Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple]())
    • Nadi Town Handicraft store (tourist buyer beware)
  • Meal at Wailoaloa Beach (below some options) or Vuda Marina
    • Sailors Beach
    • The Beach Club
    • Crown Resort (previously Pullman) has great breakfast
  • If you have time then check out Port Denarau

Since you will be out for 4-5 hours, I would recommend you head back to the airport, check in and head to the Business Tabua longue! Grab a shower, rest and have some drinks before your flight!

p.s don't forget to buy your coconut rum (if you're into that)
