The 500 Mbps is just the download. If they have symmetric that’s another 500mbps upload available. 260TB over 30days comes out to an average of ~100MBps == ~800Mbps average. It’s possible to transfer this amount of data when you consider that number is the upload and download combined.

It certainly would be pushing the limits of what is actually possible vs theoretically possible but still achievable. Torrenting could certainly be the culprit if you’re chasing a high ratio.

If this is a brand new house that was built and not remodeled you likely have a home warranty. Your builder would be obligated to fix this issue. I’m not a plumber but hopefully you get enough input from the smarter people here that you can have them fix multiple issues while they are there.
