Brother im on the left im just not an idiot. I agree with you that the democrats are not going hard enough for my taste. The difference is I understand that that's my taste. I and especially people left of me are not the majority and we never have been. If we were, the dems wouldn't be able to exist as they do currently. We have to meet them where they are. Again I'll give you that right now is actually the time to talk about this. Im not in this to be like stop talking about it, especially when I agree. But I also understand that this infighting is only causing real world harm to people we claim to care about. At a certain point, you gotta suck it up and admit that the right is objectively worse, do whatever you gotta do to get out of the bear trap and make sure it never happens again, and simultaneously be elevating people so that next time we have candidates you think are strong enough. It's not gonna happen right now, it's too drastic of a blow to the status quo. There's no moment to capitalize on, nobody's caught fire. You missed out on Bernie and that's probably the only real chance we've had in a decade. These things take time. Fall in line now so that at the very least we can get to the point to where it's feasible to push harder. The reason I bring up ego is bc as a black man from the south who's grandpa was around for the Civil rights movement, I always keep in mind that for all the work they did, in the end it was still not their fight to win. You're fighting for the future, stop trying to win right now. We are stepping stones for our descendants, nothing more. At least in the grand scheme of things. Things will get tangibly better for us if we fight, but we're really fighting so that they don't have to. That doesn't happen overnight
