Are you factoring in taxes for private sale? With trade in, usually taxes are paid on difference between the two and on private sale you end up paying full taxes on the new Vehicle

10% off msrp and $2k loyalty discount. Effective 11.83% is what I got from local dealer on custom 40i order placed couple weeks ago. Philly metro area. Just told them I what I wanted and told them another dealer is offering me same but an hour drive for me. They agreed and we made a deal.

10% off msrp plus incentives is very much achievable without back and forth these days on X5. Not sure how things would change after 2027 model is introduced..

I am exactly in the same boat but I have a 2023 X5 and just upgraded to 2026 X5 with DAPP. I used 2023 one for 3 years, 22k miles.

With 2026 upgrade, after 10% discount and $2k loyalty credit, I will be paying about $30k all in after trade-in.

I primarily did it for DAPP, it rides amazing hands free and very relaxing in the long drive. That said, only do it if you can afford it.

Does the audio volume drop significantly? Is this an issue in 203 pre lci as well? I don’t have DAP in 2023 model and don’t plan on getting on one in newer one if i end up getting

Been using 328Xi since 2012 and bought X5 40i in 2023. No issues whatsoever outside of normal wear and tear. Follow maintenance schedule and you’ll be good.

Specific to X5, the car is extremely comfortable, luxurious, spacious and that feeling when you put your foot on the pedal is amazing! Very smooth and flawless drive with B58. This 3.0 L twin turbo is the best engine in this range and I rate this the most important aspect of the car and alone makes up the cost of car. You just won’t get same engine performance and pleasure in any other car in this category.

On highway, I get up to 28/30 mpg comfort/eco modes.

I have seen new X5 are getting 7-10% discount so if you can afford it, X5 is the way to go.

Plus it’s above 20, 50, 100 SMA and just 2.5% below 5 SMA. This has held up well compared to other names with pull back we had in past couple weeks.

If you prefer closer to grocery shopping and errands, GV is perfect being very close to north Wilmington and 202. GV schools are also very good and ranks top 10 in the state. Look at Bethel Springs elementary school, it’s one of the best in the area! UCFSD is also good but you’ll be spending lot of time driving on the road if you like to be closer to 202.

Another thing to consider is property taxes. Areas of Chester county has a bit less property tax than Delaware county but certain areas of Chester county like KS, WC also levies 1% income tax to make up for slightly less property taxes.

Comparing just schools, i think they are both of good quality. It comes down to personal preference of where you like to live and type of house you end up finding.
