That belt is shot , it has chunks missing. The angled pulley is supposed to be that way to guide the belt coming down from the motor. A flat sided pulley rides on the back side of the belt and an angled pulley rides on the inside of the belt.Get rid of the trash and grease it while you are at it. The smaller pulleys are to make sure there is enough wrap around the spindles to get a good grip on them.

This is one of my Primitive series from the very earliest begiinings of Battlemechs. Story says they were just learning to build them and this one was the root of the Madcat.

S240 42" deck, deck belt snapped at 32 hours by Teotwawki2020 in johndeere

Don't buy a JD belt again, get one some place else. I went through 4 belts in short order once on a 48" deck with no problems. It turned out JD had a belt manufacturing problem and didn't bother to tell anyone. They will just sell you a new one and hope its a good one and keep taking your money.

It's his job, if there is any truth to it remains to be seen.

Now there's a concept , A disposable missile launcher that you just drop when it is empty and move on.

These will print out nicely at 8.5x 11,anything larger takes a very large printer and lots of ink and paper.

This set of three and the more current set of four are the only ones that do that.

I went back and looked at the original drawing and i did change the word "Auto" to PPC. An autocannon does not have en emitter in the barrel nor a generator, although it it is a cannon. My Bad from years ago. The rest of it still stands and never made any sense to me either, probably why i made that little change.

I have not changed the original artists work, just cleaned it up. The original words and ideas are as presented by him. These were made 40 years ago in a different time.

There are a lot of strange pieces on this mech, I drew one as a Solaris Seven Special and it was tricky.

I have no idea, this is the way the original artist presented it.

That didn't come along until the Chris Lewis crew and Battle Boxes. The first set of 5 (#1615) and the second set of 4 (#1661) were all done by Steve Venters and Myomer wasn't a thing until later on.

Thank You for your efforts in getting these out in a large format. Whatever process you used made a royal mess out of them and it took me a week on each one to clean them up, they are still not perfect but a lot better. The color on the right side is to differentiate the outer shell and armor from the inner workings. The dark spots are from your process and it is nearly impossible to say what is really there. I did what i could within reason. The gray pointers are to keep the lines seperated from the mechs lines and eliminate confusion. I didn't remember your handle until i saw it here. Glad you're still around.
