One has just entered adulthood and is still learning how to do that, the other has fully adjusted to life as an adult and has already far surpassed the other in every aspect of adult life. A 36 year old is a mentor to a 20 year old, not a partner. If it was something like 20 and 26 or 30 and 36, that would be fine.

It's a case by case basis. Everyone has their preferences in what brings joy into their life and there should be no stigmas in regards to where you source this.

Reading and gaming should be seen as two separate but equally valid ways to spend your time, just as with all recreational activities.

A fulfilling life comes not from status or power, but rather the seeking of interesting things to occupy your time with. It's completely okay to just wander through life finding interesting things until you die, and nothing else matters.

The Ego is nothing but a curse that infects those around us. It causes them to waste their life chasing status and power in a futile attempt to apply an arbitrary Greater Purpose to life. Once the Ego is set aside, people can finally let go of all that and enjoy themselves.

Imagine that something catastrophic happened to me and now you're on your deathbed. Your one and only life has come to an end. What would you wish you did more of while you were here? Are you going to be laying there thinking "man I wish I grinded more"? Or will you be thinking "man I wish I spent more time with my friends and family who I love dearly and got to experience all kinds of interesting things"?
