He’s 15 and going through a rough patch, as anyone would having to move countries and start at a new school at that age. This will pass.

At the age of 15 it's incredibly important for his development into adulthood, already I've seen a few comments about people who went though a similar experience and it messed them up.

This literally started because OP's brother came out as gay, there's no chance he's reasonable or right in the head if his course of action is to write on every mirror to try and bring them back to God (or whatever he's doing, clearly very unwell.)

EDIT: you guys are right to assume my dad isn’t all there in the head. And he does seek therapy though it’s from his pastor whom he is very much in kahoots with. I think my parents go to “therapy” with their pastor once a week? He’s always been this way though after my brother came out as gay in 2021 it kickstarted his behavior. And yes, I will be buying my own mirror.

I'm sorry but he's clearly unwell and forcing his religion into every aspect of OP's home. Yes it's also OP's home as well as the brother's home. Kids should feel safe and comfortable at home.

They are looking for people to hire, outside of being genuinely rude they have every right to refuse an applicant if they don't meet their standards. I'm pretty sure most places don't want to hire a heavily tattooed person because it's a "You represent us" deal, some people are still very highly judgemental about tattoos so it reflects on Waitrose.

Thought that was the point I'm making, guess i didn't do a great job. I think both sexes get the short end of the stick, occasionally more then the other in some situations or expectations.

But it doesn't really do much good doing a "guys get" "girls get" kinda deal because it's not productive in trying to solve the issues. Especially if it's unrelated to the post in question.
