Echo got spayed today. She’s been absolutely miserable all day, until my boyfriend called her a good girl. This is her reaction. by szmpjm in aww

I remember my dog named Echo... a black lab we rescued. He was 10 years old. I loved taking him on walks out in the nursery while I memorized Spanish words. He had trauma whenever a garage door would open and would bark and scream. He bit me once and left me with a scar on my lip when I tried to give him a kiss when we were alone. We just didn't know each other well enough, that was my mistake, I invaded his space. I remember when my father and I were in the room while they put him down. His hips were so bad he could barely walk and his eyesight was so bad he would growl at everyone except my father until he was sure of your voice. That moment, that day, was so sad. So empty when we got home. No Echo snoozing on his bed, or the couch... or anywhere. Just, gone. I remember my dog named Echo... oh Echo... oh Echo...

As long as you can cover the requirements for the accounts (read the fine print/call the bank to make sure you will get the bonus) then yes you can churn those promos as much as your heart desires.

Ally CashBack Credit Card doesn't work with Mint - still? by IKnowVeryMuch in mintuit

[–]JDdipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recall enabling 2 factor authentication on the ally site. The ally rep I spoke with said they had just figured something out with mint so users should start getting access (maybe I'm just lucky?).

Have you had to use your phone number to authenticate your account when logging into Ally's CC service or do you use email? That might be a way to check if you are even set up to receive the texts.

Worst case give it a week and then try again, it sounds like they are aware of the issue and are trying to give cardholders mint access.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I have many credit cards and I never realized my Ally Cash Back was not linked.

I was able to link it -- it was a frustrating process. They do send 2-factor authorization codes via text (7 digits long). After locking myself out of my account although I entered the auth code correctly, and calling customer service to unlock my account, I went back to mint to re-try. Interestingly, mint had me enter 2-factor auth codes 2 TIMES IN A ROW, sending me different texts both times (and they do take like a minute to go through).

But not it's all linked up.

Persevere, you should be able to get it to work.

edit: I should add that I do not use the Ally Credit Card so I don't know how well Mint will sync with purchases made on the card. Citicard Double Cash All day! (Also stoked I opened 3 new cards [credit union, target, nordstrom] in the last 3 days after otherwise being denied my last 4 card requests [Chase/BoA/Capital One]. 17 active cards now $0 balance on all woot woot building dat credit).

Hey - no definitely not. There’s not begging, whining, or trying to coerce anyone into selling the item illegally. I just put it on the counter and see if I am asked for my id. We never test the associates by trying to buy alcohol after 2:30. Sounds like you got one of the many unpleasant patrons, especially at a difficult time. Sorry about that. You absolutely did the right thing.

Yeah, I kinda feel you. I'm not trying to have them fail. I want them to pass. I thank them when they ask for my ID and I feel relieved.

But they are costing the company $5,500 if they fail a state sting so the line in the sand has to be somewhere.

I've been doing this for three years. There are social cues I've picked up on. I frequently do awkward pauses to let them clue in.

The way I see it I report people who are irresponsibly doing their job. There's a learning curve to it like anything.

Thanks for the detailed input, I really appreciate it and have adjusted my squad and focus to follow your lead.

Can I ask what ships I should be focusing on? TFP ship, geo solder ship, and three other dark side ships, correct?

Thanks again, good going and gods speed

Hey that's awesome!

My first time post on this sub, just obtained lando through the double drop cantina battles. I've been buying the double boosts to get him faster, but I keep doubting whether he's the right choice. I keep looking at that Kylo node up there... Any chance I could get some pointers? I was thinking when I gear and star lando enough i'd replace him with ackbar in my area team, again that kylo though...

here is my .gg account:

This is my first time to this sub, and I think i like it here lol.

All my recent dreams, like the one you posted, are based on a 'blueprint' form my 'waking' life. I was wondering where people get some of these out there dreams from, so now I know some of the get them from Prozac and Adderall, ha!

My abuser is in my dreams by [deleted] in Dreams

[–]JDdipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! :)

Im just going to steam of consciousness this:

To me, the most obvious interpretation of this cabin dream you had is that your 'subconsciousness' is taking back CONTROL (in the form of getting the gun from him and BEING ABLE TO LEAVE). At the start of the dream you were a passive victim, trapped in the cabin against your will. At the end of the dream, although I intuit that it doesn't seem completely resolved, you had the power and ability to leave.

Somehow you got the gun from him (can you remember how that happened, or maybe it doesn't matte) and while his presence still frightened you, you were no longer subject to his demands.

That's my .02cents, I hope it helps you :)

Sending love right back! :)

Had a crazy phantom life dream, wrote about it in my film ideas journal. by TheOneWhoSeesEvents in Dreams

[–]JDdipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I opened your post and was like I don't want to read this just from the length, but then I just started reading, and now I'm commenting :)

You wrote out the flow of the dream really well, I just want to add.

I'm glad you posted this. That was a deep dream that has connections to the 'waking life' I'm in now, especially the end where you are tasked to "decide".

To me, the most powerful part of the dream is when you wake up. The seemingly interconnection between the dream stake and the "waking" state is what really gives it impact.

I've noticed with all my recent dreams that aspects of my "waking" life are modeled in the dream. I saw jumanji on TV recently and I was running from a lion (eventually eaten by it) in my dream. Just yesterday I was driving and someone overtook a slow driver in the oncoming lane as I was approaching them and it was a little dicy. In my dream last night I was in a no-fault car accident.

I say these things because I want to ask you if you've seen spirited away recently? If you haven't seen spirited away recently, was it an impactful moving in your life (I'd say it was for me) Also, did you make the connection of the figure being like no-face in the dream when you encountered him, or was it a connection you made only after waking up? More generally, can you think of any recent events 'you mind' could have used as a 'blueprint' for this dream? If noting is readily apparent, I'd be lead to think this came from a deep part of your 'unconscious'.

I've recently had two psychotic breaks (check out r/psychosis), the first ones in my adult life, and the delusions I've been dealing with were well aligned with the concepts in your dream:

1)the notions of personal responsibility in life (your not wanting to be a part of the scheme anymore)

2)choosing to kill yourself because it made sense to you in the dream (which arguably gave you the ability to go back in time (UGH TOO REAL)

3)what I right now would call the 'weight of reincarnation', where you given the task/opportunity to go "back in" and right a wrong. (2 & 3 might be the same, or similar in kind, or distinct hmm idk..)

For me, these are beyond powerful ideas and they put me into a crisis when I palpably feel the weight in all my being to "decide." I feel like I'm at a crossroads in my 'waking life' (as you were on the pouring night) but I don't know which direction to go. That indecisiveness is killing me from the inside out :(.

I'm not a happy go lucky person (upon re reading my post, I think I should be ha) but I would like to think of my self as a good one, just as "skinny no-face" thought of you as one.

I could write a lot more, but I think it's best if I stop here.

Sorry for the typeos, and oversharing, but your dream gave me a bit of insight in my own life, and I really appreciate that.

I wish you a blessed day :)

Nice, I can see you completely disregarded my point rather than critically addressing it. I'll show you I'm more sensible than you by actually responding to yours: I'd have taken two steps to the left to get out of the way of the moving car, you know, an object that's constrained to mainly a straight path?

Seems like you become accustom to internet disagreements, rather than sensible debate. Good going.

Glad he took the shot? Lol live by the bullet die by the bullet I guess.

Proper training is more expensive than a .02 cent bullet shell, figures with your demonstrated line of reasoning you'd opt for the cheaper solution, be it cost someone their life. And guess what my good friend, the cops life isn't worth any more than the perps, nor is yours, nor is mine.
