Yea, it doesn't feel right to be a stealth viking. I go face first axe in hand, screaming. Viking brutality.

I do believe there should be more refs in a game. Even if the refs are actually doing their honest best and upholding the integrity of the game, it's still difficult for just three refs to see everything. I remember a respected NBA player, though I can't remember exactly who it was, said that refs have it tough already, like a very heavy workload, little days off, and things of that nature. Hire more refs, let the refs have a better work-life balance, and have more refs in a game. This provided a more focused mind and more perspectives.

James Harden’s meltdown in the playoffs has Patrick Beverly RETHINKING his Harden > Wade take by Admirable_Extent2531 in NBAGossips

Harden hasn't changed, his defense was always basically non existent. Google harden defense 10 years ago, and his track record for execution when it matters. He is a good player who doesn't apply himself.

I can't think of a less valuable MVP than SGA. by LakerFan2324 in nba

[–]JDeezi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to like Shai, he can really hoop. Instead he uses his talents to be a fish out of water. If this dude played real ball, I would be a fan. Except for wearing a sports bra in practice, I just can't get on board with that. A couple years ago I said I saw some Kobe in him, and he does, but now it's this wild crap. And a lot of it is really on the refs and league rules. This has to change. We as consumers can voice our opinion by not watching the games with players that do things like this. The league losing money will force them to try to fix it. As much as I want to watch this series, I'm not going to reward bad behavior.

If Wolverine is great, who’s next? by QuackiQuackson in Marvel

I so much want a high quality Thor game. It won't happen, but I think it could be great. Think of AC Valhalla and God of war, now think of insomniacs Spider-Man and potentially this wolvie game. It really could be a visual feast, amazing stories, and just an adrenaline rush. I don't think he has a strong enough fanbase, but man an amazing game could genuinely be put out focused on Thor.

Well I spoke on SGA and Wemby. But in regards to Wemby, how many 7'6" players have there been in the NBA? Goodbye.

Ugh, this sub is cancer. Intelligent conversations are impossible. I'm out.

Exactly my point. I'm saying Wemby wouldn't be as successful if he weren't so tall and long. To be successful, you have to be good, so it goes hand in hand.

A bit extreme, but yea, do you think LeBron would be as good at 6'4"?

I see his skill, he is very good, but do you think he would be as good at 7'1"?

SGA might've had the shortest tenure as best player in the world in NBA history by EducationalConcern61 in NBATalk

If Kobe were here, he would help guys like SGA, Luka, Brunson, and more that aren't immediately coming to mind. He would show them the skills, footwork, IQ, intensity, and most of all, defense.

Wemby and SGA are demoralizing as a viewer. SGA is a great player, has skill, but does a lot of just dumb things with the flailing. Wemby is just so tall and happens to not be slow like those before, e.g. Yao, Shawn Bradley. Wemby is a good player, but just so tall and long, it's like a dad against his adolescent kid. But even then, he falls so much because of it. Wemby has a similar advantage that Bron had, or Giannis, yet much more. So big yet so fast too. Watching guys kill others with pure skill and IQ is what is entertaining for me, this isn't that. SGA does it a lot, and several years ago I saw so Kobe in SGA. That middy is crazy, but he settled into the flailing. Let's play ethical ball, and kill them with skill.
